Five sophomore sensations coming off breakout seasons

The Sierra Canyon product is one of the top tackle prospects on the western region in the '28 class and has the ideal frame and length for the tackle position and is poised for a huge off-season and Junior year. He has natural bend in his stance, snaps out and gets hands on early and shows finish abilities at the first two levels. He is patient in pass protection while able to kick out and anchor against speed rushers/counter moves and stays within his frame and can sustain blocks/get out in space. With still two years left in his prep career and already holding 5 offers from P4 schools, he should be a 10+ offer guy by this time next year and a no-brainer to enter into our next rankings update.     The rising Junior is one of the more explosive and violent edge rushers/outside linebackers in this class across the state and is a highly instinctual thumper that plays downhill and is always around the ball. Pre-snap, he has a quick trigger and can knife into the backfield, takes good angles to ball carriers and packs a punch at the point of attack with closing speed and the proper angles off the edge. He flashes pass rush abilities with active hands and natural bend and shows he can redirect and scrape over the top before closing on the perimeter. Overall, a very high motor and explosive prospect, he is a FCS+ talent that should be drawing plenty of attention soon and is a key name to note this off-season.     Hinton is a big and physical runner that looks for contact in the hole and is tough to take down in one on one situations and once he gets going through the third level. He runs behind his pads with natural forward lean, has some wiggle in the short area and is a long strider that can chunk yards in the open field with a deceptive downfield gear. He shows contact balance in traffic, patience to stay behind his blockers before he breaks off and has cutback abilities and can make defenders miss in the hole while looking for contact and keeping his legs going at all times. Overall, he is a big and physical complete back heading into his Junior season and should draw plenty more FBS interest/offers.     Lange is one of the more interesting prospects across the state and has tons of untapped potential and upside over the next two years of his prep career. He is a still very raw and developing tackle prospect but has elite size/length and moves well for his size in pass protection and when blocking in space and should be fielding FBS interest/potential offers sooner rather than later. He shows a nasty finish once he gets hands on defenders, can create immediate vertical push and collapse the defensive line down while doing a nice job at using his length and staying within his frame in pass protection. He will be a key name to note through camp season this Spring and should see his stock rise heading into his Junior year.     Tuala is a versatile second level defender that can play inside linebacker or defensive end and has heavy hands, a high motor and is seemingly always around the ball. On tape he shows he can come up and set the edge and take on blocks, quickly shed and redirect to ball carriers and has some pass rush abilities off the edge as well with fluid hips and a variety of moves in his toolbox. Although he has been very productive through the first part of his prep career, he still has plenty of room for growth and development over the next two years and has the frame and length/athleticism for the next level and should start drawing attention once his Junior season gets under-way next fall.
