Breaking Down New Additions to the 2029 Rankings

We added more than 90 prospects to our rankings in Ohio last month for the Class of 2029. In our next article and multi-part series, we break down four new additions and will continue to do so throughout the month of February. These four early risers have a chance to become high-impact players in the fall and beyond.    I'm very intrigued by West Jefferson High School defensive tackle [player_tooltip player_id='1953927' first='Colton' last='Mannon'], who has a chance to be one of the top prospects in Ohio. Big, strong and very muscular for a sophomore, he has plenty of time to grow and add bulk. Mannon is very good against the run, flowing to the ball and flashing good first-step quickness. He is a lean 6-foot-5, 235 pounds, and with three more years of high school football to go, the sky is the limit.     [player_tooltip player_id='2003036' first='Austin' last='Tatulinski'] is a tough inside runner who finishes forward on contact. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound running back is very good between the tackles, frequently takes multiple defenders with him after contact and runs with good forward lean. He is more of a one-cut-and-go, decisive running back who quickly gets north and south.     [player_tooltip player_id='1423714' first='Will' last='Morse'] is a promising wide receiver for Westerville Central. The 6-foot-0, 150-pound wideout has the frame to grow and get better. He displays good take-off at the line of scrimmage, flashes solid route running skills and can be very craft over the middle of the field to get open and get yards-after-the-catch. Has good adjustment to the ball high and low and can require multiple defenders to bring him down. Should only grow and blossom at the next level.     [player_tooltip player_id='1659660' first='Conner' last='Wissinger'] is a starting offensive tackle for Granville. Wissinger is a mauler in the run game, running his feet on contact and coming off the snap with a fast first step and good hand placement/strike timing. For a freshman, he displays good lateral shuffle in pass pro, keeps defenders between his feet and can run them off-track if beaten outside. Depending on how he grows, I see Wissinger likely as a guard at the next level, but with time and development he could become a solid OT prospect.
