Austin Tatulinski Austin Tatulinski 5'8" | 154 lbs | RB Strongsville | 2029 State OH is a tough inside runner who finishes forward on contact. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound running back is very good between the tackles, frequently takes multiple defenders with him after contact and runs with good forward lean. He is more of a one-cut-and-go, decisive running back who quickly gets north and south.

Austin was another player who I was glad to have signed up for our event. His film showed and explosive offensive weapon who’s a playmaker in the run and passing games. He showed good bend and balance in the running back drills. In the 1v1’s he showed the ability to run strong routes and create big time separation. Tatulinski just needs to keep adding good weight and getting stronger and his ceiling is sky high.

Strongsville’s name is fitting as it had a strong season. They went 8-3 on the season with 2 of the losses coming on a combined 6 points. Tatulinski was a playmaker for the Mustangs offense. He’s a versatile back who can make plays in the run or passing games. Austin has a no nonsense style of running. He’s explosive and there’s little to no wasted movement. He hits the hole hard and when he gets to the second level, he displays a nice jump cut that makes defenders miss. In the pass game he has the hands to catch the ball out of the backfield, but he also has the wiggle and violent cuts to be split out and create separation in routes.

When you watch Tatulinski’s film, one word comes to mind, speed. He gets downhill and gets to top speed in the blink of an eye. Tatulinksi has choppy feet he uses to make quick cuts and make guys miss. He has the ability to make those cuts without losing speed. Austin also uses tempo to get defenders off balance. He’s such an instinctive runner who has the ability to turn any run into a home run.
