Blackman Young Core Set to Lead New Era Despite Coaching Change

<p>Blackman recently lost beloved head coach Matthew Kriesky as he resigned from his coaching role in one of the most competitive regions in the state in any classification. This news came following a deep postseason run to the state semifinals with the team just one win away from reaching the state championship game.</p>   <p>While the top two prospects for next year's team have already transferred out, the rest of the team is still currently in place and that is reason for excitement as they were one of the younger teams in the region last season.</p>   <p>Now, insert a great head coach in former Ravenwood coach Will Hester and the formidable staff he is building to join him at Blackman, and you have quite the recipe for instant success with a bright future ahead despite the change.</p>   <p>These four prospects in the 2028 class have a lot of potential and could be cornerstones for the program as Hester attempts to lay his own fingerprints on the blueprint for a young and talented Blackman Blaze football team.</p>   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1029916' first='Micah' last='Nance'] is one of the most underrated running back prospects in the entire state of Tennessee. He has solid size and a strong frame that he will need to continue to add weight on to, but he can and will run effectively in between the tackles.</p>   <p>He possesses the home-run ability to make explosives runs happen if he is given a crease and he should be given a more significant workload next season, giving the Blackman offense a cornerstone to build the offense around.</p>   <p>He is an effective one-cut runner with the strength to consistently pick up yards in between the tackles as while as the long speed to make explosive plays happen.
