2027 Rankings Update: Trench Risers

His athletic profile allows him to climb to the second level with ease and stay connected to linebackers in the run game. In pass protection, he displays natural balance and recovery ability, traits that are difficult to teach at the high school level. As his strength and hand placement continue to develop, his ceiling remains extremely high. Bryant's upward trajectory and physical tools clearly project him as a future D1 tackle prospect.     2027 two-way lineman Roman Pulefaasina from Sunrise Mountain High School brings an impressive blend of size, strength, and athleticism at 6'3, 275 pounds. On the offensive line, he plays with powerful hands and a strong lower base, allowing him to generate movement at the point of attack. His athletic ability shows up when pulling or climbing to the second level, where he moves comfortably in space for a lineman of his size. Defensively, Pulefaasina uses his strength and leverage to disrupt blocks and collapse the line of scrimmage. He flashes quickness off the snap and the ability to shed and finish plays with authority. His motor and physical presence consistently stand out on both sides of the ball. With continued development, Pulefaasina has the tools and versatility to project as a legitimate Division I prospect.     2027 defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='940617' first='Johnathan' last='Ioane'] from Liberty High School is an explosive 6'0, 225-pound edge rusher whose junior season performance elevated his standing in the latest Nevada Prep Redzone rankings. He consistently threatens the quarterback with a quick first step and active hands that stress offensive tackles off the snap. Ioane plays with excellent pad level and leverage, allowing him to convert speed to power despite not having prototypical edge length. Against the run, he shows discipline and toughness, setting a firm edge and forcing ball carriers back inside. His motor runs hot, as he pursues plays with urgency and finishes with intent. He finished second in the state of Nevada with 14 sacks, consistently impacting games with his pass-rush production. Belyeu is explosive off the edge, firing off the ball with excellent get-off that immediately puts offensive tackles in recovery mode. His instincts stand out, as he times the snap well and understands how to counter once engaged. He plays with urgency and a natural feel for finding the quarterback, whether winning with speed or effort. That production and growth resulted in a 20-spot jump in the latest Nevada Prep Redzone rankings. Belyeu's length, explosiveness, and upward trajectory point to a high-ceiling edge defender at the next level.
