from Silverado High School is a long, athletic 6’0, 225-pound edge rusher who put together a breakout junior season. He finished second in the state of Nevada with 14 sacks, consistently impacting games with his pass-rush production. Belyeu is explosive off the edge, firing off the ball with excellent get-off that immediately puts offensive tackles in recovery mode. His instincts stand out, as he times the snap well and understands how to counter once engaged. He plays with urgency and a natural feel for finding the quarterback, whether winning with speed or effort. That production and growth resulted in a 20-spot jump in the latest Nevada Prep Redzone rankings. Belyeu’s length, explosiveness, and upward trajectory point to a high-ceiling edge defender at the next level.

Belyeu came into the season as the eighth-ranked EDGE in PRZ NV’s 2027 rankings and has raised his stock significantly with the breakout junior campaign he’s putting together. The 6’/225 junior out of Silverado leads the state in sacks with 14 to go with 35 tackles and 19 TFLs. He’s a highly disruptive pass rusher that can get after the passer from an inside or outside alignment with the combination of power and motor he plays with. He does a good job of using his hands and leverage to drive blockers off the ball and possesses the range to set the edge as a run defender. Belyeu will be one of the most disruptive front-seven defenders in the 4A Southern playoffs.
