I take a look at some of prospects who made the biggest jumps in the recent 2027 MD/DC/DE Rankings. These players put together big junior seasons that need to be highlighted. I have seen all of these players live over the past year and was able to see their game develop into the scholarship level prospects they now are. Their breakdown's below reflect and give reasoning for their big ranking jumps.

Easily one of the most impressive risers of the year, Marcus jumps over 100 spots from his pre-season ranking. He really turned it up a notch this fall and has propelled himself as a no brainer P4 player. For the recent rankings update Marcus lands at #35 overall and the #4 ATH, being a game changer at both WR and FS.

From Game 1 of this year Marcus was making a strong impression. At WR he can make the spectacular catch, winning 50/50 balls and going up over top defenders to snatch the pass. At Safety he displays excellent instincts, knows when to break on the play and has a nose for the ball. Not afraid to run the alley to make the tackle or lay a hit on WRs across the middle either.

A natural athlete and playmaker, Marcus made of the most of his junior season. Hence the more than deserved big rankings jump as he has developed into one of the top prospects in the state. Marcus currently holds double digit offers from P4s to IVY schools and I can see more power conference schools offering as they get eyes on him this spring/summer.

Had a great junior year, making plays at wr and safteyhttps://t.co/KWwUVA3dnq
Top highlights from both sideshttps://t.co/a7mNsKryee
Wr onlyhttps://t.co/8NBA9oOWna
Db only @CoachVanZile @CoachAnthonyGr1@coach_weldon@CoachGordon10 pic.twitter.com/h0pt3PNrYh
— marcus turpin (@MarcusTurp1n) November 9, 2025

A player I got to see multiple times this year and caught my eye both times. Isaiah has always had the size, but he is starting to really turn his game up and has the potential to be a dominant force along the line. Deyo makes an over 40 spot jump becoming the #21 overall OL and just missing out on being a top 100 player.

Isaiah has the size & lean frame colleges look for with plus length. He moves well, is light on his feet, runs on his toes and shows decent hip mobility and flexibility. He played both sides of the line for Edgewood and has some dominant performances DT. Especially in their playoff game vs Aberdeen where he had a TFL, strip sack & multiple tackles. Being impactful on both sides of the ball shows his athleticism and motor, however with the size & power he possesses I feel his future will be at OT.

Isaiah has a high ceiling to still reach. As he continues to develop his technique and get stronger, he could become one of the top OL prospects and have another big ranking increase. He is one for college coaches to get eyes on & have camp this summer as I feel he should be a scholly kid for somehow down the road.

@CoachPatSoko @EdgewoodRams_FB pic.twitter.com/sfcmn27zcG
— Isaiah deyo (@deyo_isaiah) January 15, 2026

Tyler burst onto the scene this fall and was one of the top RBs in the state for any class. He finished 2nd in the state in rushing yards eclipsing the 2,000 yd mark, while also adding 36 TDs. Was name First Team All State and Howard Co. Offensive player of the year. He made an almost 100 spot jump from the pre-season rankings and is a top 100 player in the MD/DC/DE area for the 2027 class.

A compact thick built RB, Tyler has a great strength & power in his legs. He pairs that with quick, nimble feet and great vision and you have a workhouse back that can take over games. Tyler has excellent explosivness at the LOS. With a rapid stride, he attacks downhill like a rocket. Able to find space, hit the lane and go...you give him an inch he takes a mile. Tyler runs hard with force, able to power through arm tackles and not loss momentum.

Currently Tyler holds no offers but I don't see that lasting long. He will be a prospect on the rise once coaches see him in camp this summer. Tyler is a RB who defenses worry about and I can see him putting up similar numbers as a senior and continue to move up these rankings.

Had a great Junior Year
We back next year coming even harder!!

Number 1 RunningBack in Maryland.

2,079 Yards
179.5 yards a game
9.06 yards a carry
218 Carries
36 touchdowns
12 games played.#AGTG #workhorse
END OF JUNIOR YEAR FILM: https://t.co/w94IySSWoh pic.twitter.com/G6alzftkGz
— [player_tooltip player_id='1631095' first='Tyler' last='Lee'] (@d1tyl3r) November 22, 2025

Keenen makes possibility the biggest jump from pre-season rankings, improving almost 120 spots and becoming a top 100 player and the #10 overall DB. A player I've seen a few times over the last 2 years; Keenen made the step up from just being a good athlete to developing into a legit shutdown CB.

He possesses a prototype size for the position at 6'0'+ with a long lean frame. A physical player, Keenen can play press man and is able to bump WRs of their routes/timing. A twitchy athlete, he has quick hips allowing Keenen to turn & run with WRs staying in their pocket. Keenen also displays strong instincts and ball skills. Able to jump routes when in off coverage, while also turning & finding the ball quickly to make the play in tight man coverage.

No offers yet for Keenen to my knowledge, but that should change any day in my mind. I can see him dominating the camp circuit this summer. A multi-sport athlete playing basketball & baseball as well - Keenen has the size/skill set to develop into a multi-offer CB.

[player_tooltip player_id='1158786' first='Keenen' last='Braylock'] DB 2027
6'0 175 lb
3.3 GPA
Physical/Athletic/Playmaker pic.twitter.com/CMiHdUaWOj
— [player_tooltip player_id='1158786' first='Keenen' last='Braylock'] (@KeenenB_1) January 22, 2026

Joziah is another player who turned potential into production this past fall. I was able to see him live twice this season and his play really stood out. That lead to him making a roughly 80 spot jump in the rankings and becoming the #6 overall WR.

Transferring in from Archbishop Spalding before the fall, Joziah made a big impact for Oakdale in their run to the State Finals. Was really impressed with his size / frame development since I saw him last spring. Joziah is a big body kid at 6'3 with a great frame to fill out. Fits the profile of a big X Wide Receiver. He has a smooth long stride, able to get vertical and is a good deep ball receiver. Saw him make multiple big downfield chunk play for Oakdale. Joziah sees the ball well and can make adjustments to it in the air to put himself in position for the catch. He has Improved footwork and has some good twitch in the hips.

No offers yet for Joziah but that won't last. With the size, frame, athleticism and big play ability Joziah possesses he is a must see for colleges looking for a classic out wide receiver. Look forward to seeing more of Joziah this spring and see him continue to develop his game.

Junior year mid season highlights @WRU_CoachMilez @RecruitThe0 https://t.co/Lwn3KvuCsl
— [player_tooltip player_id='1630074' first='Joziah' last='Cobb'] (@joziah_cobb) October 23, 2025
