We circled thru South Dakota this morning and went thru our top 5 offensive linemen from there, as now we shift it to North Dakota and do the same content exercise with our top five offensive linemen from the Peace Garden State. You can meet our new OL1, plenty of summer camp risers, and a hidden gem from Carrington that you should meet sooner rather than later, we dish it all out in our top 5 series of the best offensive linemen in North Dakota.

If you follwed us last summer on the camp trail at the NDSU camp, you might have learned about the hidden gem in this 2027 class that is [player_tooltip player_id='1716657' first='Andrew' last='Matt'] of Carrington. The 6'6 280 pounder carries that frame with plenty of upside yet to grow in this 2027 class. Andrew has quick hands that engage with a high generation of speed at the point of attack which was proven in Fargo this summer and beyond into his junior season. I said it last summer and it's worth saying again, this young man gifted from a football IQ perspective as he taking coaching extremely well and processes it into play very quickly. Andrew has a good chance to move up in this top 5 group of offensive linemen if that upside keeps producing.

Another new entry into our top five of offensive linemen in North Dakota is [player_tooltip player_id='1625480' first='Grayson' last='Mowery'] of West Fargo Sheyenne. The 6'4 265 pounder is one of the best left tackles in the state in this class and has the great footwork that already shows that he could move up quickly in this class inside this class of the top 5 offensive linemen. He is one of the most efficent finishers in the second level, as Grayson never loses a battle when he gets downhill with his fluid movement. I really like the step forward he took as in pass protection in his junior season as an offensive line prospect that surely should move up a spot or two by next update in the OL group. TWITTER

Our rankings make it clear, that two of the top five offensive linemen in North Dakota's 2027 class hail from West Fargo Sheyenne, as [player_tooltip player_id='1625480' first='Grayson' last='Mowery'] came in as OL4 and OL3 is [player_tooltip player_id='2048334' first='Atreyu' last='Bartch'] who had a big summer on the camp trail. The 6'3 260 pounder was a top-tier offensive linemen at nearly every camp I was in attendance at last summer. Atreyu wastes no time with the very quick firing of his hands and what's more impressive is with that hand speed how quickly he is able to get them well-versed in his pad-level. There also is something to be said of how quick Atreyu is an a finisher, as his violence with his hands waste no time at pinning his defender to the turf even against top-tier 11AAA competition. D2 offers don't come out frequently the summer before your junor year too often, but it surely won't be the last one that Atreyu gets on his recruiting trail as this right guard grades out as our OL3 and could have a big summer coming on the camp trail.

Moving over to Fargo, we introduce our OL2 in the 2027 ND class which is 11AAA state champion [player_tooltip player_id='1292622' first='Mathieson' last='DuBord'] of Fargo Davies. Some of the most overwhelming hands you are going to find in this 2027 North Dakota class in my eyes come from Mathieson on his junior tape as if you blinked while watching his tape, the speed Mathieson knocks his defender to the turf is evidently quick to say the least. I also am intrigued with his re-fitting ability on his run-blocks, as he seems to lose little to no leverage as he is highly efficent as one of the best run-blockers in this 2027 class. Already has a sound amount of D1 and D2 interest that has been consistent over the last several months.

Moving up to the OL1 spot deservingly is Bismarck Century's [player_tooltip player_id='1292610' first='Peyton' last='Seil']. The 6'6 285 pounder is one offensive linemen from the Dakotas that you could not miss on the camp trail this summer or during the fall season. He took the OL MVP at the Wisconsin camp over the summer and has overwhelming hands, great pad-level and the finish you want your OL1 in a class to have. He certainly is the most balanced as far as skillsets in the 2027 ND class, as there isn't many areas that Peyton does not excel at across the board in pass and run blocking schemes. Well-rounded is the best way to describe this young man as a offensive tackle that also adds position flexibility in the trenches if you need it but that right tackle spot looks like an ideal fit for the Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase alum.
