is having a busy summer! The West Fargo product came into to the NDSU FBS Prospect Camp with offers from Air Force, Western Illinois, St. Thomas, Drake, as well as a host of D2s, and you can see why, as he is impressively bendy, owns a clean, patient pass set, and displays a ton of force in his strike and brings hips through contact. A lean, 275 pounds with plus length and a ton of room to fill in with good weight, Mowery was tough, displays impressive foot speed, and suffocated a couple of pass rusher’s reps throughout the session of competition PRZ got to watch, The NDSU coaches were working with Mowery throughout the weekend and despite him not reeling in the offer, you can see why. I think this dude is going to find a lot of success wherever he ends up.

. The North Dakota boys really showed up and showed out in Grand Forks, and Mowery was an obvious Top Performer and Standout with a ton of tools that make us bullish on his projection into the college level. The likes of Western Illinois, Drake, St. Thomas, and NW Missouri State have all offered Mowery as of late, and you can see why, as the rising senior demonstrated excellent footwork and a ton of comfortability and effectiveness in his pass set. Did a great job of handling and cutting off speed rushers as they attempted to threaten that outside shoulder, and once he dropped his hips and set his base he could halt powerful DL in their tracks. The length, technique, physicality, and overall body of work and camp performance make me confident that no matter where he ends up, he’s going to be successful.

I’m currently writing this evaluation at a coffee shop in West Fargo, so shoutout to Sheyenne High School and Grayson Mowery! Oh yeah, and Mowery was also a standout OL performer at the second & final Golden Gopher prospect camp of the summer. The 2027 standout earned some hard-fought wins during 1v1s and showed he could handle both twitch and power with effectiveness. He had an especially impressive rep wherein Mowery completely stuffed a massive bull rush attempt from a huge DT prospect. Tough and strong, Mowery can also drop his hips, set his base, and really compete in the trenches in terms of strength and physicality.

. He’s grown to 6’5 280 pounds and just had an impressive showing at the Bemidji State prospect camp from what I heard and wish I was in attendance to see. His efficency in pass-pro I am sure is going to be even quicker from a footwork perspect than what his junior tape shows off in my eyes. He’s one that can bolster with his fluidity at the second level and cause some damage with excellent pad level. Grayson has nasty violence in his hands that is going to get more D1 and D2 attention this summer for sure. He’s got a great shot to be a top 10 prospect in the class by the ned of the summer if not already.

of West Fargo Sheyenne. The 6’4 265 pounder is one of the best left tackles in the state in this class and has the great footwork that already shows that he could move up quickly in this class inside this class of the top 5 offensive linemen. He is one of the most efficent finishers in the second level, as Grayson never loses a battle when he gets downhill with his fluid movement. I really like the step forward he took as in pass protection in his junior season as an offensive line prospect that surely should move up a spot or two by next update in the OL group. TWITTER

You can assure that with the tape that Grayson has put up thus far this year in his junior season, that this young man will be in our top-tier amongst offensive line in our 2027 ND rankings. The now 6’4 250 pounder. The athleticism peaks early for Grayson on tape, as any college coach should be intrigued by the depth this kid gets in his stance which leads to a balanced pad-level and enticing hands that’s well-versed in pass pro. Grayson’s also gotten quicker as the season’s come along with the a quicker release of his hands which can be also said about his footwork. He just got off a visit to NDSU last week, and surely I love that fit for Grayson at the D1 level.
