UPDATED: The state's #1 recruit backed up the hype being named the South-Central Conference Defensive POY, while helping his team to a league title and a (10-1) record. He finished the season with an impressive 10 sacks and 23 tackles for loss.

The 4* originally from Desert Mountain HS in Arizona is ranked among the top 20 D lineman in America. Cumberland has all the physical attributes, and we will see how that translates for a Willamette program that now features double digit D1 guys.

2.[player_tooltip player_id='457009' first='Sam' last='Vyhlidal'] 6-4 225 TE Lake Oswego (COMMITTED: Washington)

UPDATED: The most athletic player in the state in my opinion. Vyhlidal was a unanimous 1st team all TRL selection on both sides of the ball and has a real shot of being a Sunday guy.

Vyhlidal was closing in on 20 offers before his commitment to UW. The Metro League Defensive POY last season made the move to Lake Oswego from Mountainside, after earning 1st team all-league honors on both sides of the ball the last two years. He's the real deal.

3.[player_tooltip player_id='402416' first='Lamarcus' last='Bell'] 5-11 190 RB Lake Oswego (COMMITTED: Utah)

UPDATED: Bell was banged up during the year but still dominated the state. He was a unanimous 1st team all TRL selection and could play early at Utah.

Bell flipped from Oregon St to Utah in what looks to be a great situation. The reigning Oregon 6A POY went for 2000+ yards and 29 TDs, averaging 12.4 yards per carry last season. The Lakers are expecting to win a state title.

4.[player_tooltip player_id='769915' first='Noah' last='Tishendorf'] 6-3 250 DE Lakeridge (COMMITTED: West Virginia)

UPDATED: Statistically Tishendorf is one of the best defensive players ever to come out of the state when referencing his career numbers. This past season he went for 9.5 sacks and 17 TFL's racking up TRL Defensive Player of the Year honors. From a recruitment standpoint, he could be one of the biggest steals nationally if he ends up at West Virginia.

Tishendorf is another one who flipped from Oregon St to go play in the Big 12 for the Mountaineers. When all is said and done, he could be one of the all-time state leaders statistically after totaling 20 sacks and 40 TFL's the last two seasons.

5.[player_tooltip player_id='769925' first='Oliver' last='Luebkert'] 6-3 190 WR Beaverton (COMMITTED: Eastern Washington)

UPDATED: Luebkert should be the 6A POY in Oregon, finishing with an all-time state record of 118 catches and 28 TDs to go with 1,801 receiving yards. On the recruiting front this is one of the biggest misses by colleges in recent memory. Credit to EWU as he will be an FCS All American.

EWU potentially just landed one of their biggest commits ever. You will likely see multiple universities pursue Luebkert in the coming months, as he's largely gone under the radar. His positional MVP honors at the Army All American combine, to go along with his 60 catches for 1128 yards and 8 TDs last year, speak to his ridiculous upside.

6.[player_tooltip player_id='402409' first='Hudson' last='Kurland'] 6-4 200 QB Lake Oswego (COMMITTED: Washington St)

UPDATED: The 3* QB was a 1st team all TRL selection helping his squad to the 6A state title. His size and dual threat status with his ability to run the ball could be the X factor for him collegiately.

Kurland makes a nice jump up the board and is a great fit for a WSU program headed in the right direction in my opinion. The 6-4 QB can beat you in multiple ways including with his feet and will project as a 6A POY candidate after earning honorable mention all-state honors last season.

7.[player_tooltip player_id='1232699' first='Cade' last='Mitchell'] 6-3 200 QB Mountainside (COMMITTED: New Mexico)

UPDATED: I won't even start on the All-Metro stuff because everyone knows it was ridiculous. Mitchell made his intentions known early with the Lobo's going 9-3 this past season. Credit to Coach Eck for getting on him early and rightfully being named the Mountain West Coach of the Year.

As most know Mitchell has had an unreal off season MVPing multiple showcase events against some of the top competition in the West. As a junior he passed for 2000+ yards and 23 TDs/4 INTs. It will be a battle with Jesuit for the Metro title. You could see numerous universities come in on Mitchell late even with his commitment to the Lobos.

8.[player_tooltip player_id='402406' first='Donnie' last='Vercher III'] 6-2 215 LB Central Catholic (COMMITTED: UC Davis)

UPDATED: Vercher earned 1st team all Mt Hood honors for the 2nd year in a row helping his team to the state title game, with a huge upset over West Linn. Look for him to be an all-Big Sky selection by his sophomore year.

I'm assuming UC Davis knows how big a commitment this was for their program with Vercher holding double digit D1 offers. The all-state LB racked up 56 tackles with 16.5 TFL's and 4.5 sacks last season. He will likely do more of the same this year.

UPDATED: The Co Offensive Lineman of the Year in the TRL could have his best years ahead of him. As good as he was this past season, his ceiling is still incredibly high, being young for the grade.

The 1st team all TRL tackle had a phenomenal junior year and will be listed high on multiple recruiting boards. He earned honorable mention all-state honors last season and is a year young for the grade, making him that much more appealing from a recruitment standpoint.

UPDATED: Stimpson was injured a large part of the season but still managed to earn 1st team All Metro honors, finishing with 17 catches for 432 yards and 6 TD's. His 25.4 yards per catch average speaks to his game changing ability in the open field.

Credit to Nevada for getting on the "do it all kid" when they did. Stimpson should be considered one of the most lethal athletes in the region when in space and a Metro League POY favorite on both sides of the football. His 1800+ all-purpose yards and 17 TDs to go with 3 INTs was one of the best stat lines in Oregon.

11.[player_tooltip player_id='770046' first='Quinn' last='Wicklow'] 6-7 260 T Jesuit OFFERS (4) N. Arizona, E. Washington, Portland St

UPDATED:Speaking of upside I could see Wicklow being an even better collegiate athlete. It's rare to see a 6-7 lineman be as athletic as he is, garnering 1st team all-Metro honors on both sides of the football. His mobility adds to his unlimited ceiling.

Wicklow has one of the highest ceilings of any lineman in the West. He's still relatively raw and could easily put on 40 pounds of good weight with his frame. Look for him to continue to add offers.

12.[player_tooltip player_id='402395' first='Braxton' last='Singleton'] 6-3 195 ATH North Salem OFFERS (3) Boise St, Nevada, Portland St

UPDATED: Even though Singleton has multiple offers, I could see him walking on at Oregon and being one of the best and most versatile players on the team. He finished his senior season with 986 all-purpose, with 51 receptions for 737 yards and 9 TDs on a running team. He also had 58 tackles with 2 TDs and 5 PBU's defensively.

Boise St has done a great job of recruiting the NW and this is a perfect example of that. Singleton is one of the only players in the region who could play at the highest level collegiately on either side of the ball. Give him a ton of credit for leading his conference in INTs with 5, while also going for 590 yards and 4 TDs, on a 1-8 North team.

He finished with 50 tackles, 5 INTs, with 2 pick 6's. Mid Majors and Big Sky's are missing.

Thomas has a stock that has jumped significantly in recent months adding multiple D1 offers, after racking up 1st all Mt Hood and honorable mention all-state honors at safety last season. The Rams will need him to repeat his 62 tackle, 4 TFL, and 4 TD performance from last year.

The Pacers are absolutely loaded with Sanoe once again being the featured guy out of the backfield. It will be on him to show what he can do against 6A's top competition, after going for 10 TDs and earning 2nd team all-state honors last season.

UPDATED: One of the main reasons Nelson had the season that they did. The 2x 1st team all Mt Hood selection has great size and overall physicality.

I would expect Katoanga's recruitment to pick up during the season. He should be considered the #1 ranked pure DB in Oregon, earning 1st team all Mt Hood honors last year. As mentioned numerous times he is a freaky overall athlete with size.

Another lineman who is expected to break out from a recruitment standpoint in the coming months. Ioapo hasn't gotten out on the camp circuit, but he was an elite lineman for the state champs last season, earning 1st team all TRL and honorable mention all-state honors.

UPDATED: Credit to BSU for getting on Nuno when they did. He is committed at LB but can play multiple spots on either side of the ball giving the Broncos options.

Look for Nuno's stock to continue to skyrocket. The 1st team all-state 4A WR has gone for close to 2000 yards and 20 TD's the last two seasons, but was offered as a LB by Boise, just to put his overall athleticism into perspective. It wouldn't surprise me a bit to see him jump way up this list.

If this commitment holds the Vandals could have gotten themselves a future FCS All American. I would expect numerous big-time universities to come in on the 6-7 Paul in the coming months.

Sombe went down with an injury and missed last year after a breakout off season that saw him garner multiple D1 offers. If CC is going to beat the likes of Lake O and West Linn it will be because of the run game.
