With snow prepared to roll into the Hudson Valley, Athletes from across the North East packed into Hudson Sports Complex to compete, and showcase their skills at the Prep Redzone NY Stock Up Showcase. This was our first edition of the Showcase, which had its own event, after pairing with NJ for multiple years. With 16 Quarterbacks in attendance in Warwick, we take a look at some notes I wrote down for each QB during the showcase.

Seabrooks was a reoccurring prospect who attended our NJ Showcase as well. The 2029 QB had a solid day throwing the ball. He measured 5'10" 161-Pounds, giving him a good size for a 2029 Prospect, who has tons of room to grow. He clocked in at a 5.19-40 Time, and had a 7'0" Broad Jump. His L-Drill, and Pro Shuttle times ranked middle of the pack for QB's. Throwing the ball he had a solid day, his accuracy was shown, and in 1V1 drills he made multiple nice throws. His mechanics can use work, as he has a delayed release which can affect his timing and accuracy on throws. Seabrooks had a solid day, and is on track to become a top 2029 QB in NY.

Martinez was a QB I was excited to see, as he had a breakout Junior Season for Holy Cross. He measured in at 5'11" 181-Pounds, giving him a good frame for a QB. I want to see him reach 185-190 to fill out his frame before graduating. The 2027 QB, had a good 40-Yard Dash, clocking in at 4.78 Seconds. For Broad Jump, and L-Drill he found himself in the middle of the pack for QB's. His Pro Shuttle saw him in the bottom half of QB, but still accomplished a solid time with a 4.75. Martinez displayed good ball placement, along with a strong arm. He did miss a few throws, but he fit the ball into tight windows throughout in 1v1 Drills. His footwork, was solid, and I liked his mechanics a lot. Madden is a top returning QB in the Catholic League next season, and continues to improve each day.

Royal was a prospect I loved watching throughout the showcase. The 2028 QB, had little buzz entering the showcase, but left impressing scouts and coaches in attendance. Royal, measured in at 5'9" 176-Pounds giving him a good frame for a QB. I want to see him hit the 5'11", 190-Pound mark to fill out his frame before ending High School. On each of his combine tests, he ranked middle of the pack amongst QB's and had solid times in each category. Royal displayed a quick release, and good accuracy throughout the day. In 1v1 Drills he hit all his throws, and squeezed the ball into tight windows. Royal is an extremely talented 2028 QB, who put his name on a map during the showcase.

Barnwell was amongst the top of the impressive QB's we had in attendance in Warwick. Barnwell measured in at 6'1" 180-Pounds, which gives him a good frame for a QB. Reaching the 185-190 mark, will fill out his frame for the College Level. His 40-Yard Dash Time sat at 4.74 Seconds, and ranked in the Top Three for QB's. His L-Drill, Pro Shuttle, ranked in the middle of the pack, while his Broad Jump, was in the Top Five for the QB Position. Barnwell threw some of the prettiest balls, with good consistency throughout the showcase. His accuracy was good on 1v1 Drills, and he showcase a quick release while throwing the ball. His footwork mixed with his combine numbers showed he has solid speed, and is a true Dual-Threat QB to watch as a Senior Next Season.

Casey was a QB I wish I saw more of during the Showcase. Unfortunately after the Testing Portion, he sustained an injury leaving him sidelined for the rest of the Showcase. His Combine numbers stood out to me. The 2029 QB, measured in at 5'8" 153.5-Pounds. He has an average frame at the moment, but I want to see him continue to fill it out throughout High School. Casey impressed, ranking in the top 20 in all testing metrics, and in the Top Five for QB's. He held his own as a Freshman through the first portion, and will be watched closely this season.
