With snow prepared to roll into the Hudson Valley, Athletes from across the North East packed into Hudson Sports Complex to compete, and showcase their skills at the Prep Redzone NY Stock Up Showcase. This was our first edition of the Showcase, which had its own event, after pairing with NJ for multiple years. With 17 Lineman in attendance in Warwick, we take a look at some notes I wrote down for each Lineman during the showcase. For combine numbers, I will use the best attempt from each drill.

One of a few Senior's on the defensive side of the ball, Chester made a solid impression in Warwick. There is a discrepancy regarding his height, but his weight measured in at 271-Pounds. He displays a solid build for a Defensive Lineman, and given his frame can play anywhere from EDGE, to the inside. With his experience, his IQ was shown throughout the day. He had a multitude of moves he could use during drills, and understood how to attack different types of lineman. His IQ, and tool bag of moves was very valuable, and led to him having a solid performance in Warwick.

Collin Bishop-Valley Central

Bishopp was a player who had a solid Showcase in Warwick, and made it onto my radar for the 2027 Class. The Valley Central Lineman, measured in at 6'1" 224-Pounds, and can lineup as an EDGE, or an Interior Lineman. He has time to grow into his frame, but at the moment I like him as an EDGE Rusher. Throughout the testing portion, he showcased some solid athleticism, along with good speed. He seemed to have a solid understanding of how to rush the passer, but seemed to be questioning himself with what move to use or how he should go about each rep. Bishopp is a solid Rusher, and with a solid tool bag of moves, and confidence, can easily be an outstanding Pass Rusher in the state.

Arias entered Warwick, as a veteran Catholic League Pass Rusher, who has caught my eye at multiple times this season. He measured in at 6'2" 248-Pounds, showing an outstanding build for an EDGE Rusher. Arias had a good testing portion, and put together some solid numbers for a Defensive Line Prospect. He displayed a quick burst, and got out of his stance quickly. He was aggressive at the POA, and left Tackles fighting to keep him in front. He displayed a high IQ, and when Pass Rushing, he used a tool bag of moves, along with good footwork to move inside, after beating players off the EDGE. He consistently won Reps, and his Rip Moves were elite in Warwick. Arias is one of the top Rising Senior Pass Rushers in the Catholic League.

Nunez was the other veteran Lineman in Warwick. He can play both sides of the ball, but as the Showcase, he took defensive reps. Standing at 6'1" 268-Pounds, he displays good size for a Defensive Lineman, and mainly fits on the interior of the Line. He had a solid showing in Warwick, and was quick out of his stance. He had a good first step and utilized his punch on almost every rep. His hand placement and footwork were exceptional, beating each Lineman he faced, and knocking them off balance. He finished each rep with an excellent IQ, utilizing the ability to change directions, and catch opposing lineman in bad positions. Nunez was an outstanding prospect, and was a deadly threat on the inside.
