NEW 2028 RANKINGS: How Does the Quarterback Class Look?

<p><strong>POST-SEASON UPDATE:</strong> We have officially released a new set of rankings for the class of 2029 in Arkansas. In this article, we will showcase the 2028 quarterbacks with analysis. Over the next month, I will break down these rankings by position within each class, as well as other relevant segments. For the quarterbacks, I will provide you with evaluations of some of the top prospects and the players flying under the radar:</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1353999' first='Tyce' last='Fletcher'] is expected to take over the starting role at quarterback in 2026. His potential is intriguing, and he will play at the next level. Fletcher is a smart quarterback who can read pre-snap. He displays good arm strength, allowing him to attack all levels of the field with good velocity on the football. He utilizes his hips to generate torque and put velocity on the football along with good footwork. He displays solid footwork and mechanics within the pocket. Cook keeps his eyes downfield when the pocket is closing in on him. Cook makes solid ball placement at all field levels and has the mobility to be effective on the ground. He threw for 2,230 yards and 21 touchdowns. Gilcreast also showcased his dual-threat ability, carrying the football 54 times for 394 yards and eight touchdowns. He's a rhythmic thrower with solid mechanics and effective footwork when operating outside the pocket.
