About Kingston

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’d describe my gameplay as a blend between a pro-style QB and a true dual threat. I can drive the ball through the goalposts and make every key throw, deep outs, corners, digs, while consistently leading my receivers open. My arm strength, quick release, accuracy, and football IQ all elevate my style of play while using my speed as a threat to opposing defenses.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I approach the game with a competitive, composed, and resilient mindset. As a QB, I take ownership of leading the offense, setting the tone with preparation, and making decisive reads under pressure. I’m team-oriented and coachable, hungry to refine my mechanics, decision-making, and leadership. I pride myself on staying poised and calm in critical moments.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Academic Honor Roll AVID

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My leadership development shows in the way I guide my team, leading the huddle, clearly communicating game plans and strategies from the coaches, and keeping my teammates focused on key cues and execution. Beyond the field, I’m committed to giving back. I participate in the Helping Hands initiative through the Delta Network, where I help distribute food and clothing to community members in need.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

After the unexpected passing of my first QB trainer, I went through a period of uncertainty, lost focus, unsure if I wanted to continue playing the position. With the support of my family & coaches, I regained my determination & commitment to the game. That experience pushed me to seek out new opportunities, connect with coaches outside the state, & continue building on the skills learned.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that pushes its athletes toward hard work and greatness—not just on the field, but in their growth as men. I value a program that builds a true family and brotherhood among teammates while establishing a winning culture. I am looking for a college where I am able to use my skills and abilities while continuing to grow and develop in the QB position.
