We're underway with updates after dropping the final Class of 2026 rundown Monday on the site.

The process never stops, really. It's a constant pursuit of new names to evaluate.

Today, that takes us to the Iowa 2027 Class. The junior edge rusher gets off of the snap quickly and puts the opponent on his heels, as he shows during his 11th-grade highlight video. Draboh is effective with his hand in the dirt or standing up. While speed and quickness stand out as key assets, he also displays productive pass-rush moves and active hands that help him separate. Darboh is strong with a frame capable of adding good weight without the loss of agility. In 2025, he racked up 63.0 tackles, 57 of which were of the solo variety. He registered 18.5 tackles for loss and 12.5 sacks.

As I've written previously and will continue mentioning, I do not know the intricacies that go into making a successful long snapper. Like other endeavors on the gridiron, performance is improved through repetitions, and it's clear from watching Kiesau's junior highlight video that it's led to him delivering positive results for the J-Hawks. He also adds value as an offensive lineman for Urbandale, as he shows during his highlights from that position. Kohl's kicking, which does know the long-snapping game, ranks Kiesau as the No. 5 long snapper nationally in the 2027 Class, saying: He is a top-tier prospect in his class.

Doak is an interesting prospect as a long, athletic athlete with potential to help programs at a yet-to-be determined position. Having played quarterback, he possesses a strong understanding of what everyone on the field is doing, which aids in his positional flexibility. As a defensive back in 2025, the junior delivered 32.0 tackles with 15 of them being solo stops. He posted 4.5 tackles for loss, a sack, a fumble recovery and an interception. Doak shines during his 11th-grade highlight video. He looks comfortable locking down his area of the field in zone coverage. That can be lining up just outside the box in the slot. From there, he crashes down on the run after quickly diagnosing rushing plays coming his way. He's fast in pursuit with a frame capable of adding good weight, giving significant potential as an outside linebacker.

Koeppen took noticeable steps forward as a signal caller this season. The junior completed 57.3 percent of his passes for 1,219 yards and 13 touchdowns. He added 90 yards rushing and a score on the ground. Koeppen flashes an interesting skill set when watching his 11th-grade hightlight video. It's a technically crisp throwing operation with a quick delivery. He generates good zip on the ball and pushes it down the field with ease. While Koeppen prefers passing from the pocket, his mobility allows him to keep plays alive off schedule. He keeps his eyes downfield and can deliver with accuracy on the run.

Cole is a great example of there being solid college prospects in all classifications of Iowa high school football. Operating for Class A Newman Catholic, the junior should have the attention of coaches on the next level as an athletic youngster with a projectable frame packed with potential. On the offensive side of the ball, he hauled in 40 passes for 504 yards and eight touchdowns. Of his 22.5 tackles, 18 were of the solo variety. He posted 2.0 stops for loss, a sack and a pair of fumble recoveries. We witness Cole getting the job done when watching his 11th-grade highlight video. It appears like he's operating a few speeds faster than the competition. He's a versatile tight end, effective whether lining up in-line or splitting out. Cole is a willing and able blocker. He's a disruptive edge rusher with a potential future there.

Huisman turned heads with his performance as a junior this fall. He should be on the radar for plenty of schools at the next level as a long-limbed athlete with a frame capable of adding good weight without the loss of agility or quickness. He's already producing while he's developing physically. In 2025, Huisman contributed four receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown as a tight end but stood out at linebacker, where he recorded 53.0 tackles (39 solo, 9.5 TFL) and 3.0 sacks. He also forced a pair of fumbles. When viewing his 11th-grade highlight video, Huisman illustrates how he earned first team all-district laurels. He diagnoses plays quickly before the snap and gets downhill in a hurry once the play is underway. He's effective lining up at different spots in the formation and uses his hands well in avoiding or separating from blocks.
