Cole was the leading receiver for the Knights in 2025, finishing with 504 yards on 40 receptions and 8 TDs. Dualing as a TE and outside WR thanks to his size and frame, Cole is a physical mismatch against his opponents, proving too big for DBs to tackle and too fast for LBs to keep up with, making him a perfect cornerstone for the Wolves’ passing game. As one of the top TEs across the state returning in 2026, Cole should continue to put up big numbers at the heart of Newman Catholic’s offense.

Cole is a great example of there being solid college prospects in all classifications of Iowa high school football. Operating for Class A Newman Catholic, the junior should have the attention of coaches on the next level as an athletic youngster with a projectable frame packed with potential. On the offensive side of the ball, he hauled in 40 passes for 504 yards and eight touchdowns. Of his 22.5 tackles, 18 were of the solo variety. He posted 2.0 stops for loss, a sack and a pair of fumble recoveries. We witness Cole getting the job done when watching his 11th-grade highlight video. It appears like he’s operating a few speeds faster than the competition. He’s a versatile tight end, effective whether lining up in-line or splitting out. Cole is a willing and able blocker. He’s a disruptive edge rusher with a potential future there.
