CFI Carolinas Showcase Top Defensive Backs

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Charlotte Football Insiders (CFI) Winter Showcase hosted over 170 players from the Carolinas and beyond at Rocky River High School. Three players from the showcase received offers so far, and a lot of great talent was on hand at all positions in attendance. We'll start looking at some of that talent in a series of articles analyzing these players. A Queen City Senior Bowl selection, Keenan is a long and fundamentally sound cornerback who has very good technique and can run with a team's primary receiver all game. Justin's quickness and explosive ability athletically were some things that stood out about him here. He projects as a slot corner, but he can play on the outside as well. He really stood out to me during the individual period of the showcase, going through drills and showing a high level of taking coaching and applying it correctly with good technique. Amari came in being strong in 1-on-1 coverage, and that showed well here during the 1-on-1 portion of the showcase. He is certainly worthy of the ranking he currently has in South Carolina, as I could see he wanted the challenge of going up against some of the best wide receivers in attendance. Amari is now listed at 6'2 and 170 pounds, and that frame allowed him to make some plays on balls in the air consistently. With 3 interceptions on the season, Jayden probably projects as a slot corner in college, but the thing I really like about him is his ability to change direction and explode out of breaks/turns. That really showed well in the agility circuit portion of the showcase. He has a nice physical frame already to continue to add weight, and he plays the run well already in his highlight package.
