Boy, do we have a good one on our hands for the 3A championship game. The Pomona Panthers (12-1) face off against the Windsor Wizards (13-0) at Canvas Stadium. Both teams love their run

We have our Stock Up Showcase event on December 13th! It's a great way to gain extra exposure as a prospect, and gain valuable measurables. I will be in attendance evaluating prospects, and I hope to see you there !

Pomona Panthers

The Panthers have an explosive rushing attack and it shows with the stats. They have 410 carries for 2795 yards compared to 121/194 for 1989 passing yards. Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1634988' first='Tucker' last='Ingersoll'] leads the charge. The 6'2 190-pound went 113/1182 for 1800 yards, 62.1% completion rate, 26 TDs, 9 INTs, 61 carries for 475 yards and 7 touchdowns. Ingersoll uses good throw power and very good release to throw dots to receivers downfield. Shifty in the pocket. He also uses his very good athletic ability to scramble around, and will rush for the first down if needed. Very good balance to churn forward for extra yards. Check out down below!

[player_tooltip player_id='1621218' first='Luis' last='Santana'] measures in at 5'8 170-pounds and is the team's leading rusher. The RB/WR/FS has 145 carries for 1025 yards, 8 touchdowns, with 21 receptions for 328 yards and 4 touchdowns, with 34 total tackles, 2 TFL, 2 sacks, 2 PD, and 2 FR. Very good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, acceleration, good speed, and balance. Very good vision. Very good inside and outside running. As a receiver, he has good release. Very good catching, very good ball adjustment and body control. As a defender, he brings that same energy and fire and I wouldn't be surprised if he has a big game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1362782' first='Emmitt' last='Munson'] is another two way star for Pomona. Leading the team in tackles, the 6'0 175 ATH has 67 carries for 391 yards, 7 touchdowns, 18 receptions for 290 yards, 6 touchdowns, 85 total tackles, 9 TFL, 1 sack, and 2 FF. Munson is a very physical linebacker and thrives with it. Very good acceleration with an explosive quick start. Very good blitz take off speed to get behind the line of scrimmage and make the play. Very good strength and block shedding. Good range. Patient on read options. On the offensive side, he has very good separation quickness and yards after the catch to reach the endzone. Check out down below !

Maddux Najera measures in at 6'2 195-pounds playing TE and LB for Pomona. He currently leads the team in sacks. He has 67 total tackles (45 solo, 22 assisted), 11 TFL, 9 sacks, 12 QB pressures, 2 PD, with 3 receptions for 99 yards and 1 touchdown. Very good athletic ability. He's a big body with a large catch radius for the offense. On defense, he ranges between edge or off-ball. Very good range with relentless pursuit. He doesn't give up until the ball carrier is in his grasp. Very good get off speed and block shedding. Powerful bull rush with a very good bend. Quick twitch ability as well. He's a strong tackler too. Overall great player.

Windsor Wizards

These Wizards love their run game, and with good reason too. They average 6.9 yards per carry on 487 carries for 3377 team rushing yards. Compared to 50/104 completions with 727 passing yards. Windsor has a very powerful offensive line with standout Oklahoma commit tackle [player_tooltip player_id='1089227' first='Deacon' last='Schmitt'], and G/C [player_tooltip player_id='1720477' first='Kaden' last='Myers']. Deacon is an elite specimen at tackle, and dominates whoever is in front of him. There's a reason why he was such a highly touted recruit. He has elite strength with elite hand strength. He dominates in both the passing game and running game. Very good anchor. Schmitt has that tenacity in an offensive lineman that you can't teach. Here's some week 13 highlights of his.

[player_tooltip player_id='1720477' first='Kaden' last='Myers'] is an exciting young prospect. Mainly playing center, he can play any position on the line. Very good strength. Very good knee bend and flexibility with good balance. Very good foot quickness. Myers has very good initial quickness from snap to block, maintaining a low pad level to out leverage the DL. Very good hand placement and hand strength to control his opponent with ease. Very good run blocking and will go from 1st to 2nd level blocks with ease. Very good anchor in pass protection as well. Check out down below !

https://twitter.com/kaden_myers_72/status/1995308895666090255

[player_tooltip player_id='1672761' first='Adrian' last='Czyszczon'] leads the team in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. The 5'10 195-pound back has 249 carries for 1554 yards and 22 touchdowns with 5 receptions for 125 yards and 2 touchdowns. Czyszczon has very good athletic ability due to very good balance, speed, acceleration, and good change of direction. He's a powerful downhill back. Very good vision to identify the hole to rush through. He consistently gains yards after contact. He bounces off defenders, trucks through them, or will use his explosive jump cuts to make them miss. Czyszczon has powerful legs as well to churn forward with multiple defenders on him. Great player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1926262' first='Everett' last='Wood'] measures in at 6'0 215-pounds and accounted for 76 total tackles, 3 TFL, 1.5 sacks, 5 QB pressures, 3 PD and 1 FR. Wood has very good athletic ability due to very good lateral quickness, acceleration, change of direction, good speed, and jumping. Very good range from sideline to sideline to his zone responsibility. Good read and reaction speed. If he can't make a play at the LOS, he will put his arms up for a pass deflection. Very good block shedding and very good blitzing. Very good tackling with very good strength. He also makes an impact in the passing game. Look down below !

Final Thoughts

I believe this game will be won in the trenches. Both teams have powerful offensive lines with great running games. For either team to succeed, the other will have to successfully stop the run and put the offense in long 3rd down situations. This will be a great game for running game enthusiasts like myself!

Boy, do we have a good one on our hands for the 3A championship game. The Pomona Panthers (12-1) face off against the Windsor Wizards (13-0) at Canvas Stadium. Both teams love their run
