As we get deeper into the month of December, we have entered the final round of rankings updates for the year. The latest class to be updated in state of Kentucky is the class of 2027. With the class update being officially posted, I will be taking the next week to break the rankings down by position. After already covering the offensive skill players, here are our top offensive linemen in the class of 2027 in the state of Kentucky.

[player_tooltip player_id='378828' first='Brady' last='Hull'] continued to prove to be the top offensive lineman in the state in his class this season. He lined up at left tackle where he was dominant in the run game. Hull explodes out of his stance and plays with a high motor, driving his man down the field with a sense of urgency. He finishes his blocks with a ton of physicality, often resulting in a pancake block. Hull also proved to be reliable in pass protection this season, showing the ability to maintain a strong base while absorbing contact, not allowing for easy penetration into the pocket. Brady currently holds several Power 4 offers and I expect that list to continue to grow this offseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='500073' first='Justyn' last='Perez'] continued to establish himself as one of the top players in the state in his class this season. Perez lined up at right guard where he was very impressive as a run blocker. He is a true mauler in the run game, driving straight through his man to drive them off the line of scrimmage quickly and does a great job of finishing his blocks through the whistle. Perez also showed the ability to pick up blocks in open space with ease on long runs. In pass protection, he showed the ability to protect his inside gap while keeping a strong base. Justyn currently holds multiple Power 4 offers and I expect more to come his way going into his senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1284258' first='Rahzeon' last='Gillespie'] caught our attention last season and continued to impress as a junior. He lined up at left tackle where he proved to be very reliable in a run-heavy offense. Gillespie showed the ability to use his athleticism and awareness to get into the second level with a sense of urgency and pick up blocks in the open field. He also showed the ability to drive his man inside on down blocks to open an outside running lane for the ball carrier. Gillespie currently holds offers from UT-Martin, Eastern Kentucky, Grambling State, and Southern Mississippi, and I expect a lot of college coaches to have their eyes on him this offseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='1715699' first='Austin' last='Sloan'] is another 2027 offensive lineman who continued to impress this season. Sloan lined up at right tackle where he proved to be very reliable in pass protection. He does a great job of getting into his pass sets quickly to mirror opposing pass rushers with ease. Sloan also does a good job of keeping a strong base while absorbing contact, not allowing for much penetration into the pocket. In the run game, Austin has shown the ability to drive his man down the field with a sense of urgency and finish his blocks through the whistle. Sloan currently holds offers from Eastern Kentucky and Miami (OH), and I expect more to come his way as he is a true Division I caliber prospect.

To wrap up our top five offensive linemen in the class of 2027 in the state of Kentucky, I have [player_tooltip player_id='1222652' first='Xavier' last='Carter']. Carter lined up at right tackle this season where he was dominant as a run blocker. Xavier is very explosive out of his stance and does a great job of driving his feet through contact to finish his blocks quickly with a ton of physicality, resulting in frequent pancake blocks. He also proved to be a good pass blocker, showing the ability to fight with his hands to keep inside position while maintaining a strong base. Xavier currently holds offers from Southern Mississippi and UT-Martin, and I expect more to come his way moving forward.
