2027 NV Rankings Update: New Additions Out of Northern Nevada

The 6'2"/175 pocket-passer led the Lancers to a 4A state title with over 2,300 passing yards and 33 TDs. He's an accurate and athletic passer that can use his legs to evade the rush, takes good care of the football (only 2 INTs this season), navigates the pocket well, and gets the ball out on time. He shows good ball placement down the field and outside the numbers and is a strong thrower on the run. He's a strong, powerful blocker in the interior that can drive DTs off the ball and holds up well in pass protection. He shows good footwork and mobility, is quick to snap and engage defenders, and shows his IQ/awareness identifying stunts and blitzes. He's a big body at 6'4"/260 that can open running lanes on the perimeter with his ability to eliminate DEs and OLBs and work up to the second level. He does a good job of walling off the edge in pass protection but would like to see him improve his footwork, pad level, and initial strike ahead of his senior season. The 6'2"/170 junior wideout is an athletic playmaker that brings explosive playmaking to the passing attack with his straight-line speed and exceptional ball skills. He's a physical, high-effort blocker on the perimeter, shows good burst/acceleration after the catch, and tracks the ball extremely well downfield. He's a long, lanky target on the perimeter at 6'3"/160 that creates mismatches against smaller DBs with his natural length and high-point ability. He offers strong hands, solid catch radius, and two-way versatility as a WR/FS. He's an athletic ILB at 6'/210 that excels in coverage and at getting sideline to sideline. He's a high motor defender that shows relentless pursuit to the football, has the lateral range/speed to make stops on the perimeter, and can slip blocks around the LOS with his agility and athleticism.
