2026 Rankings Newcomers: Offense

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Deep dive into the new offensive talent that has entered the PRZ state rankings. This group of newcomers brings a diverse mix of positional versatility and skillsets after strong senior seasons.</h2>    Burke makes his 2026 rankings debut at #83 overall. The 6'7” 220 lb. TE brings an imposing frame and intriguing upside to the position, creating natural mismatches for defenses. He is a good athlete for his size, showing plus body control and coordination that allow him to move naturally, change direction, and adjust to the football in space. His ability to stay balanced throughout contact and contort his body to finish plays stands out, especially for a player with his length. As a blocker, he is a strong and willing presence at the POA. He plays with good effort and technique, using his length and strength to engage defenders, seal edges, and sustain blocks in the run game. His physicality and competitiveness add value as a complete TE rather than a situational pass catcher.      Helgeson enters the rankings at #100 overall after an outstanding senior season throwing for 2,800 yards and 38 touchdowns while leading Scottsdale Christian to their third consecutive 3A state championship. At 6'5” 210 lbs. he possesses a prototypical frame for a QB and showed consistent command of the offense throughout the season. He is a strong and developed passer with good mechanics, displaying reliable footwork and a clean release. Maintains good tempo with his feet and eyes, allowing him to stay on schedule and efficiently work through his progressions. His vision stands out, as he consistently identifies leverage and delivers the ball to the correct spot. He shows good arm talent, capable of throwing a catchable ball with the appropriate velocity and touch at all levels of the field. Whether fitting throws into windows or layering, he demonstrates control and feel rather than relying solely on arm strength.      Klootwyk has seen his recruiting stock on the rise as of late pulling in first three offers this month highlighted by a D1 offer from San Diego. The three year starter is capable of being effective from any position on the OL at 6'2” 270 lbs. with a 79 inch wingspan. Demonstrates the ability to operate in space and engage a moving defender with proper angles and footwork. Shows good initial quickness out of his stance and the movement skills to get out in front as a puller or as a screen blocker. Establishes positional leverage early on in the play and accelerates his feet upon contact to be a strong finisher at the POA. Flashes the balance and hand usage to stay in front and control defenders throughout the play. Debuts in the rankings at #118 overall.      Demonstrated dynamic playmaking ability on both sides of the ball all season for Prescott at WR and DB. At 6'1” 185 lbs. he's an instinctual player that has great game awareness and feel to put himself in position to be a difference maker. He is a smooth, natural athlete who shows both short-area burst and legitimate long speed. His athleticism translates well in all phases, allowing him to separate as a receiver and close quickly in coverage. At the catch point, he is confident and reliable, attacking the ball in the air and winning contested situations. With the ball in his hands, he's capable of creating explosive plays, using elusiveness and the ability to shake tacklers to extend gains in the open field. His performance has earned him a spot in the rankings at No. 119 overall and jump-started his recruitment, as he recently picked up his first three offers from Valparaiso, Black Hills State, and Marist.      The 6'2” 185 lb. WR offers a strong skillset with the ability to be effective on the outside, in the slot, or as a kick returner. He is a plus route runner who shows a strong feel for tempo and separation, consistently creating space with sharp breaks and a good understanding of leverage against coverage. He possesses top end speed that allows him to threaten defenses vertically and providing true breakaway ability after the catch. Once the ball in his hands, he transitions quickly up field and can turn routine completions into explosive gains. His speed is complemented by strong body control and awareness in contested situations. At the catch point, he does a good job playing the ball in traffic. He extends to catch the ball outside of his fame, giving him a large catch radius and the ability to make a play on off target throws. Played a crucial role in Casteel's run to the 6A State title and debuts in the rankings at #123 overall.
