2026 MD/DC/DE Updated Rankings: Biggest Risers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I take a look at some of the biggest risers in the recent post season 2026 rankings. I was able to get eyes on each of these players at some point during the fall as well. Moving up almost 100 spots from the pre-season rankings to being a top 50 player in the recent post season rankings, Jordan was easily one of the biggest rankings mover. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">I saw Jordan multiple times early in the fall and you could see he filled out his frame more from his junior year. He started his season playing like his hair was on fire chasing down ball carriers and making plays in the backfield. Shows nice speed/power &amp; leverage off the snap. Jordan plays with good initial pop &amp; gets blockers on their heels as he gets upfield and then finds / gets ball.&nbsp; He has the motor, frame, and athleticism to be a force and he proved it this fall being a co-captain and helping lead DeMatha to an undefeated season and WCAC Champions. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Back in August my though was - "Think he is going to have a big senior campaign &amp; will be an FBS steal." Leading Quince Orchard to undefeated State Championship season and being a big reason for their success. Will jumped over 150 spots in the recent rankings and I see him as the top un-committed QB in the area. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On the year William threw for over 1,300 yards with 20 passing TDs and only threw 1 INT all season. He also rushed for over 500yds and 4 scores. His numbers may not be as striking as others but you have to take into consideration Will sat out over 2 games worth due to QO being up so much in games, so his numbers could have easily been higher. William is very efficient and consistent in his play and that is proven with his 70% completion percentage, 143 passing ratings, to go with that single interception on the year. That is an excellent TD to INT ratio and you can't ask for much more from your QB. I saw Drakeford live in game earlier this year and I saw improved pocket awareness and decision making. He is a QB who can run but is efficient and smart in his running, doesn't just take off when his first read isn't there. Knows when to escape the pocket and move the chains as well as be dangerous on designed runs. William is accurate and consistent as a thrower. Can hit passes across all the three levels and able to pass from different throwing angles/trajectories. While also having the arm strength to make all the throws &amp; push it down the field vertically. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A high academic prospect as well, William have proven to be a high level player as season long. That playmaking ability lead to him making a massive jump in the recent rankings, moving up almost 250 spots to being a top 150 overall player. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A key player for St. Paul's in their run to MIAA Class B champions this year, Landan stood out as a WR/DB and as a returner. He is a good body athlete with lean muscle and nice length. Quick, twitchy and electric with and without the ball. Landan shows great balls skills, can go and snatch it and a ball hawk on D. Can play in the slot on offense and is effective as a rusher either from the backfield or in the jet sweep game out of the slot. He offers excellent versatility as a DB, able to play CB, SS, or as a Nickel. Physical on D, Landan will come up &amp; hit, strong in supporting the run, and will throw his body around / not shy of contact one bit. Can see him being recruited on either side of the ball depending on scheme/fit/need.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A true ATH prospect, Landan made plays for St. Paul's in almost every possible way. Making big plays and TD scores on Off, racking up tkls &amp; INTs on D, and having multiple big returns for scores. He locked in for this season right from the jump and became the leader of the Defense for the Saints. Hence the over 250 spot from the summer rankings to these recent post season rankings and making Tyler a top 150 player. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Having seen Tyler live earlier this season on of the first things you notice is he has filled out his frame/added strength since last fall, looking the part on the field. He plays with high football IQ, Coach Batts raved to me about his understanding of the defense, film study and how he gets the D in order out on the field. He is a versatile S - can play over the top, in a 2 Deep, or in the box. A ball hawk in coverage as well as being able to come run the alley and into the mess to make the tackle. Tyler plays with a high motor as well, showing constant pursuit to the ball, good instincts / reactions. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Having been impressed with his development this fall, he is another player I thought could be a steal of a prospect for someone. However in those 6 games he still showed great playmaking ability and led to him making a nice ~50 spot jump. He also made 1st Team All County while only playing half the season, which shows to his impact in the games he did play.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Racking up over 650 APY and an outstanding 10 TDs in just 6 games, you add in the rest of the season staying on that pace and Kyre would have had on of the top seasons off all WRs in the state. Kyre demonstrates excellent quickness, burst and speed&nbsp;out on the field That comes from him being a top track runner in the state as well. Kyre is a muscled up player, while being only 165 he yoked with nice pound-for-pound strength. Able to play out wide or in the slot, he offers versatility as an offensive weapon. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A sleeper prospect with no current offers to my knowledge, D2 schools should be all over Kyre this winter. With nice size, frame, length - Perry fits the mold of today's DB that should catch teams eyes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Versatile as a defender, Brooks can play CB/S/Nickel and play in multiple coverage schemes. Physical, with good reaction timing and able to go make a play on the ball. Perry is also impactful in run support. A strong tackler, he will come down hill, run the alley and lay a hit. I saw him live earlier this season agains Paul VI (VA) where he lowered his shoulder into the ball carrier forcing a fumble at the goal line for a big turnover. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Perry is a player who made the most of his senior season leading to him making 2nd team All WCAC.
