#7 South Park @ #2 Iroquois

South Park had been an overachieving team all season but the Iroquois Redhawks were hitting on all cylinders in this one, passing for 209 yards (breakout player [player_tooltip player_id='1707374' first='Jackson' last='Kwaizer'] came in huge with a 5-117-1 stat line) and running for another 220, led by sophomore RB [player_tooltip player_id='1707378' first='Trey' last='Pfeiffer'] with 119 on his own. Pfeiffer also recovered a fumble in this game. Iroquois will host West Seneca East on Friday 11/7 at 7pm.

Player of the Game

No surprise here as Kleitz's record breaking season continues. Justus shredded the Sparks defense for 5 TDs to 4 different receivers ([player_tooltip player_id='1707374' first='Jackson' last='Kwaizer'], [player_tooltip player_id='735840' first='Nick' last='Skutnik'] had 2, Nick Ciancio and [player_tooltip player_id='1345201' first='Timothy' last='Domino Jr']). Kleitz accounted for over 300 yards of the Redhawks offense, including 95 on the ground.

#8 Olean @ #1 Williamsville South

Olean did their best to stay in this contest. Offensively, QB [player_tooltip player_id='505857' first='Joe' last='Mest'] had a stellar game accounting for 160 yards and a couple of scores. He was also their starting Safety and made 7 tackles. Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='1683964' first='Dominik' last='Myers'] may have been their best player with 94 yards receiving and a TD while registering 5 tackles (1 for loss). But that wasn't enough as the Billies, led by new QB [player_tooltip player_id='1994452' first='Philip' last='Gangi'] would fire on all cylinders, winning 42-20. Gangi threw for 143 yards and 4 TDs to 3 different receivers ([player_tooltip player_id='1344697' first='Evan' last='Zankl'], [player_tooltip player_id='1742466' first='Connor' last='Duggan'] & Tommy Collins). Williamsville South will host Lackawanna on Friday 11/7 at 7pm.

Player of the Game

Although the Billies air attack was phenomenal, I always feel that if you can't run, you can't win. Williamsville South's [player_tooltip player_id='1742403' first='Amir' last='Ceasar'] was their workhorse carrying the ball 24 times for 258 yards and 2 scores.

#5 Pioneer @ #4 Lackawanna

Over the last several years, these two teams have fought over the top spot in Class B. You would be hard pressed to find two teams more closely matched. They are both hard nosed rushing attack teams. While Pioneer's offense, led by [player_tooltip player_id='1371662' first='Isaac' last='Platt'], would old their own, Lackawanna would take this one 14-13. Platt was the Panthers best player by far registering 122 yards from scrimmage and scoring both TDs. He also made 7 tackles and a fumble recovery on defense. But down 13-6, Lackawanna QB Michael Moore would score a 2-yard rushing TD with 1:51 remaining then Moore converted the 2-point conversion to advance in the post-season. Lackawanna will travel to Williamsville South to take on the Billies Friday 11/7 at 7pm.

Player of the Game

While the Steelers are known for their running game, Underwood (a 6'3 180 lb. playmaking WR) is the player that made the plays in this one. Kobey started the scoring with a 27 yard TD by outmatching the contested CB in the 2nd quarter. Then later in the 4th, Underwood caught an 18 yard catch-and-run on a hitch route that set up Moore's game winning TD.

#6 Depew @ #3 West Seneca East

Depew came into this game with Connolly Cup hopeful [player_tooltip player_id='1513348' first='Zach' last='Bridenbaker'] and All-WNY QB [player_tooltip player_id='1513363' first='Kole' last='Szratter'], who combined for over 120 yards on the ground and had a rushing TD each. But West Seneca East came in huge with 4 big turnovers, 2 from freshman breakout player, Cinsere Tucker. All season long, the Trojans run game has been the talk of the town but it was their passing game that dominated on this day as they defeated the Wildcats 70-24. West Seneca East will travel to Iroquois on Friday 11/7 at 7pm.

Player of the Game

Benker has been the catalyst to the WSE offense all year as their dual threat triple option QB. But in this game, his rushing was at a minimum while he threw 6 TDs to 5 different receivers (2 to Josh Urban while Ethan Wolowski, Joey Molnar, [player_tooltip player_id='1658230' first='Keyjuan' last='Williams'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1923490' first='Kyler' last='Monterro'] each had 1).
