Wynn is one of the best QBs I have seen all season long. His control, poise and leadership were obvious right from the start. They had an early turnover and gave up a quick score, and he was immediately rallying his guys and getting their heads right before heading back out on the field. Beyond that, his arm talent was on display all night long. He was throwing it in windows, throwing deep balls accurately and making good decisions. I absolutely love what I saw from him and believe he will be a star throughout these playoffs and next season. He'll be worthy of a higher ranking as well during our next round of those as well.

This dude was the definition of grit all game long on Friday night. He was grinding it out in the first half, picking his spots and getting what he could. In the 2nd half, it definitely started to shift. The defense was getting wore out, and Randolph was starting to turn 3 yard gains in the first half into 10 yard gains. The defense was struggling to keep up and with him, and struggling to bring him down on first contact. He just kept pounding and kept his head down, and it started to pay off in a big way. Overall, I came away impressed with his grit and ability to keep grinding out tough runs until he got his chance, and then exploiting the defense when they slipped up.

This was probably the most impressive performance I have seen from a tackle yet this season, and I have watched multiple P4 committed/offered linemen. For starters, Zander is way more mobile and athletic than most high school offensive linemen. He had no issue getting downfield and executing blocks in space. When he got his mitts on the defender, it typically ended with the defender on his back. His pass blocking was just as solid. His quick feet allows him to slide and stay in front of the pass rusher without leaning or getting out of position. I love what I saw out of him and will be watching for his commitment- someone is getting a good one!

Jaden had a really solid performance against a Mott team that was testing the defensive backs fairly often. A couple of his reps stick out in particular where he stayed right in lockstep with the receiver and was able to keep position the whole way and knock the passes down. They were absolutely textbook plays. The pressure Dow was able to generate was largely because of the great coverage downfield that allowed the pass rush to get into the backfield and cause havoc. Great job by Jaden and the rest of the secondary overall.

This was a nice discovery for me. Particularly in the 3rd quarter, Zimmer got in the zone. He was reading and reacting quickly, plugging run lanes, and causing trouble in the passing game, even coming away with a big interception. He started to play free in the 2nd half and you could see the shift in his game. His reads were confident, his reactions were right and his hits were jarring. Absolutely loving the development, I think Jameson will be a huge weapon for this Dow defense going forward.
