Postseason Round III- Standout Offensive Performances

What a week!   Today, we're watching some of our Standout Performers on the offensive side of the ball. These prospects dominated this week and have been putting together some impressive seasons- we're all going to have to watch out for them moving forward.   With that being said, make sure you watch their film below!    Deshawn Spencer was absolutely unstoppable on the ground and out wide for Saraland this week.   “Spencer has some fantastic speed and acceleration; he can easily outrun entire defenses and makes it look effortless. Paired with his speed, Spencer is extremely elusive- he frequently makes defenders miss in the open field and has a ton of different moves that allow him to break away for huge runs.   Spencer also plays with a lot of physicality- he doesn't shy away from contact, can withstand some big hits, and is a physical runner between the tackles.“   Spencer dominated in his team's 56-32 win over Pike Road, recording 9 carries for 102 yards and one TD on the ground and 9 catches for 211 yards and 4 TDs through the air.   You've got to check out some of Spencer's tape below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1354216' first='Kingston' last='Preyear'] threw the ball everywhere on the field this past week, further cementing himself as one of the top quarterbacks in the state.   “Preyear has unreal arm talent and can place the ball anywhere on the field- he has a strong arm, can throw with a lot of touch and accuracy, and hits his targets perfectly in stride downfield. Preyear is also terrific at navigating the pocket- he's elusive and doesn't let pressure get to him, can extend plays and make throws on the run, and is great at avoiding sacks.   Another impressive part of Preyear's game is his mobility- he can create huge plays with his legs. On tape, he frequently carved up defenses for big gains off of zone reads and just by scrambling, he's a seriously dynamic QB who can truly beat you in every way.“   Preyear was fantastic in his team's 40-13 win over Hueytown, completing 16/22 passes for 375 yards and 2 TDs through the air.   Make sure you watch some of Preyear's tape below, he's a top QB in the 2028 class.      [player_tooltip player_id='1624913' first='Alvin' last='Dinkins'] is a talented passer out of Williamson who made a massive impact through the air this week.   “Dinkins plays with a ton of confidence- he's excellent at navigating the pocket, is great under pressure, and has impressive arm talent he uses to put the ball anywhere on the field. Dinkins has a strong arm and great accuracy; he can push the ball downfield, is great at leading and hitting his WRs in stride, and has excellent ball placement on some really tough-to-throw passes.   I'm most impressed with Dinkin's ability to extend plays- he is excellent at evading defenders and seeing the field while on the move. He frequently finds his way out of sacks and can deliver clutch throws when plays look dead.”   Dinkins was terrific in his team's 41-10 win over Montgomery Catholic, completing 13/19 passes for 145 yards and 4 TDs. He's quick on his feet, and has great acceleration and twitch that help him upfield and make defenders miss for huge plays.   Pope is just as talented at passing the ball. He has some serious arm talent and can make a ton of difficult throws all over the field. Pope has impressive arm strength, throws with great accuracy and timing, and can spread the ball around the field to move the chains.“   I was really impressed with Pope's performance against Deshler. He completed 6/9 passes for 76 yards and one TD in the air, and racked up 63 yards and 3 TDs on the ground as well.   I'm a big fan of Pope's game. He's an exciting QB who deserves more eyes- make sure you watch him below:      [player_tooltip player_id='401124' first='Le'Kamren' last='Meadows'] had another dominant performance on the ground for Moody this week, carving up Briarwood Christian every time he had the ball in his hands.   “Meadows is a tough back to stop. He's extremely patient, has great vision, and consistently finds wide-open rushing lanes to move the ball through. At 6'0 210, Meadows plays with impressive speed, twitch, and contact balance that help him dominate defenses every snap. At his size and speed, Meadows requires multiple defenders to bring him down in the open field- he's a dominant back with tons of great traits.”   Meadows was dominant this week, recording 16 carries for 158 yards and 3 TDs on the ground, and another 4 catches for 49 yards in the air as well.
