The Woodbridge Vikings have a legit argument that if not for a botched snap in their overtime loss against North Stafford that they would be undefeated right now. A tough draw for Coach Longerbeam's squad with Patriot in the quarterfinals awaits. Nonetheless Woodbridge is still considered amongst the favorites in Class 6, [player_tooltip player_id='853949' first='Caleb' last='Tucker'] has had an incredible senior campaign at quarterback for them. The Vikings are loaded with playmakers including [player_tooltip player_id='1426550' first='Vinnie' last='Hill'], [player_tooltip player_id='412072' first='Marquece' last='Sharpe Jr.'], James Shaw and Howard commit [player_tooltip player_id='1297627' first='Raphael' last='Johnson']. They also boast perhaps the best offensive line in the state with center [player_tooltip player_id='1202104' first='Solomon' last='Bezabih'] being a highly regarded FCS or higher prospect.

Colonial Forge:

Colonial Forge has had state title aspirations since last season when they bowed out to Oscar Smith after claiming the Region A title. Minus a setback against Riverbend the Eagles have been locked in for the 2025 season. Long time starting quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='853812' first='Brock' last='Brimhall'] is capping off a stellar career under center with 27 touchdown passes! Running back [player_tooltip player_id='1297628' first='Torie' last='Martin'] continues to be one of the most overlooked senior prospects, while Taysean Jones, [player_tooltip player_id='1645084' first='Jeremiah' last='Wise'], [player_tooltip player_id='1593988' first='Jaylen' last='Carter'] and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1571526' first='Darion' last='Majeed'] are all impossible to match up with 1 on 1. Can the Colonial Forge defense hold up as the season wears on and the weather gets colder?

Speaking of red hot, the LC Bird Skyhawks enter Regional play on a three game winning streak. Senior running back Tyrell Allen appears to be the main ball carrier rushing for over 1,000 yards and a 6.8 yards per carry pop. Allen gashed James River Midlothian last week for 174 yards on 21 carries, if he doesn't play the Skyhawks may not be entering region playoffs with an above .500 record.

The Bruins come into Region play on a bit of a downer after falling to West Springfield in the final seconds last week. In spite of that Coach Dougherty's squad will be fired up to take on an explosive Mount Vernon team averaging over 30 points per contest. Norfolk state bound [player_tooltip player_id='1297748' first='Tyrone' last='Jackson'] has taken a major leap in his development, the first team all region quarterback has thrown for over 20 touchdowns in his final season for Lake Braddock. While [player_tooltip player_id='853848' first='Payton' last='Holmes'] was unfortunately lost for the season a few weeks back due to a knee injury, junior back [player_tooltip player_id='1663713' first='Samuel' last='Rhye'] is stepping up in his place. Rhye is averaging nearly 70 rushing yards per game and has rushed for 7 scores in limited action already. [player_tooltip player_id='1236900' first='Khaleed' last='Cash'], [player_tooltip player_id='1297865' first='Zachary' last='Hibner'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1513477' first='Will' last='Fedor'] all earned first team all conference honors as they want to be 3 time Region Champs.
