MD Playoffs: Regional Finals Top Performers

These players were key in securing their teams wins and made big impact plays. He effected the game on both sides of the ball, making big time impact &amp; game changing plays.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Early in the game, Brayden had a key forced fumble on GP's star RB. Ripping the ball out of his arms while making the tackle. Westminster recovered the FF and went on to get their first score of the game off that possession. He then made had a huge reception of a comeback route on a nicely placed ball from [player_tooltip player_id='1696348' first='Rory' last='O'Connor']. Brayden made a leaping catch and then out ran multiple defenders for a 75yd score that extended the lead for Westminster. Brayden made a few more excellent defensive plays during the game to secure the victory for his team. On the last play before halftime, he had a knock away PBU on a pass on that was on it's way to an open receiver in the end zone. That kept Guilford from getting a much needed score that could have given them life into the 2nd half. Later in the 4th quarter, Brayden had a huge tackle for loss as GP went for it on fourth &amp; 2. He timed his blitz perfectly, not giving it away to the Offense and then shot through the middle of the Oline into the backfield making a strong tackle. On the game he had 2 rushing TDs, a fumble recovery, and multiple other big plays for his team on both sides of the ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Both his rushing TDs came when Perry Hall was in the redzone, and Noah was in the backfield at the QB in a wildcat formation. He should good vision and cutting ability to find the right lanes and tough running to power through tacklers and find the end zone. Playing on the edge on D, Noah made multiple key tackles in the backfield helping limit big plays from Oxon Hill. To go along with his rushing scores, he also added in a few other big runs and multiple long receptions out of the slot. Noah was able to get separation from defenders and get excellent YAC for big plays. He was all over the field racking up 15 total tackles. He also added a sack and forced fumble on a play where he had a delayed blitz, coming from the outside and then bursting through the whole left by the OT sliding out. Travon then blasted the QB, de-cleating him and sending the football flying for a OM recovery. He may only be 5'9" at LB but Travon plays fast and physical. He hits through ball carriers and does not hesitate to bring the hammer down. He also added a a TD for OM, coming out into the flats from the FB spot and making a smooth catch &amp; run into the end zone. He racked up over 253 total yards, with 207 of those yards coming on the ground. Kameron also added 3 rushing scores in the game. The 1st team all-county RB is a dynamic athlete who can make plays all over the field. He is a versatile offensive weapon who is tough to get a clean shot on in open field. Kameron is dynamic and shifty with the ball in his hands, able to make quick cuts and find space for big gains. His play style and versatility offers a lot at the next level and I expect more interest from FCS/D2 schools coming his way this winter. He passed for over 200 yards and 2 passing TDs. Nate was dotting the ball up all over the field. Distributing passes to multiple WRs across all 3 passing levels. He consistently hit his playmakers in stride with nice accuracy allowing for big plays. Nate showed how dangerous he can be with his legs in the game as well. Often extending the play, moving the pocket, scrambling for first downs and throwing well on the run. He also added a big 40+ yard TD run where he eluded defenders and burst past them down the field and into the end zone.
