Travon was lights out for Old Mill’s defense in their shut out win over Urbana this past weekend. He was all over the field racking up 15 total tackles. He also added a sack and forced fumble on a play where he had a delayed blitz, coming from the outside and then bursting through the whole left by the OT sliding out. Travon then blasted the QB, de-cleating him and sending the football flying for a OM recovery. He may only be 5’9″ at LB but Travon plays fast and physical. He hits through ball carriers and does not hesitate to bring the hammer down. He also added a a TD for OM, coming out into the flats from the FB spot and making a smooth catch & run into the end zone. Travon and the Old Mill defense will need to continue being a force this weekend as they go up against an explosive Mervo offense.
