Kearney measures in at 5'9 160-pounds, playing DB and returner for Mesa Ridge. The junior has 317 return yards, with 33 total tackles (23 solo, 10 assisted), 2 TFL, 1 QB pressure, 3 INT, 6 PD, and 2 FR. Kearney has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, jumping, and good change of direction. He's an explosive returner and uses his very good vision to weave through the special team's defense. Kearney is good at jamming the WR at the LOS of scrimmage. Smooth and controlled back pedal. In man coverage, he's stride for stride with the wide receiver. Very good closing quickness. Very good at timing pass break ups. He has good ball tracking skills and good anticipation. Kearney is physical during the route, rerouting the WR. Good in the run game too. Very good tackling and good block shedding. Kearney is the real deal.     Colvert is an 8th grade QB who will be playing for Air Academy next fall. Colvert has good athletic ability due to good acceleration, speed, and balance. Good release and throw power. Colvert has very good touch on his throws with a high arch making it easy for his receiver to catch. He stays poised and calm under pressure. Good ball placement skills and good accuracy. He has good roll out speed to the left and good scramble ability. I'm excited to see how he does next year for Air Academy.     Toliver is one of the leading sack leaders in all of Colorado. The 6'1 210-pound defensive end has 78 total tackles (33 solo, 45 assisted), 19.5 TFL, 14.5 sacks, 2 FF, and 2 FR. Goes between edge and off-ball linebacker. Toliver has good athletic ability due to very good lateral quickness, good speed, and acceleration. He has very good strength. Split double blocks and get pressure on the QB. Good initial quickness. Very good hand strength. Very good swim moves, and power rush. Good get off speed, and very good block shedding. Very good bend around the edge. He's aggressive and kills it on the blitzes. Relentless pursuit and doesn't give up till the ball carrier is in his hands. Great season by the edge rusher.     Lucero has been a star for Pagosa Springs. The 5'8 170-pounds RB/LB has 109 carries for 1354 yards and 20 touchdowns, 41 total tackles (30 solo, 11 assisted), 6 TFL, 2 sacks, 2 INT, and 1 FF. Lucero has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, balance, and good change of direction. Lucero uses his explosive start and very good vision to identify which gap to run through. If one is covered, he uses his jump cuts to pivot into an open gap and thrash the defense for a big gain. Very good inside running and good outside running. He'll gain extra yards after contact due to his balance and bouncing off of defenders. Lucero is a durable player. As a linebacker, he has good tackling and good range to prowl the field. He has relentless pursuit and will run across the field to make the play. Another great season by the senior.     Dotison measures in at 6'0 165-pounds, playing RB, WR, and SS. He has 47 carries for 232 yards and 1 rushing touchdown, 8 receptions for 144 yards, 2 receiving touchdowns, 40 total tackles (25 solo, 8 assisted), 2 TFL, 4 INT, 1 PD, and 3 FR. He's a versatile two-way player. Very good athletic ability due to very good jumping, acceleration, speed, and good change of direction. He has good vision to weave through the defense. Good release at the line of scrimmage. Good separation quickness due to his athletic ability and outrunning the defender. Very good catching and ball tracking skills. On the defense, he's good at jamming the WR at the LOS. Very good in man with a smooth controlled back pedal and fluid hips to match the receiver's cuts. Very good closing quickness. He has good read and reaction speed. Very good tackler and good in run support. Dotison made a statement in his junior year.
