He has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, jumping, and good change of direction. Good read and reaction speed. He does a great job jamming the WR at the line of scrimmage and re-routing. Smooth and controlled back pedal with great hip fluidity. Very good man coverage and zone coverage. Uses his very good closing quickness to disrupt passes. Dotison is also a very good tackler and makes his presence known in the run support. Look out for him this upcoming season.
