Good timing with his hands to break up passes. Instinctive v. The run with good closing speed. Really like him at corner where he plays tougher than his size would indicate. Griffin is feisty with great use-of-hands and isn't afraid to be physical with receivers. Can jam and play press. Starts at OT. Good puller and mover in the run game, can get out in front on screens, latch onto defenders and drive them off the ball. Good leg drive, hand placement and strike timing. Also a DE. Keep an eye on hhis development. The 5-foot-11, 260-pound interior linemen flashes twitch and excellent pursuit. Vaughn also has a high motor and is playing a big role in Avon's improved season.
