The Newton Rams have a stable of backs who can run through defenses, and Hambright is one of them having a really strong final season. He doesn't always lead the team in carries, but when he does carry the ball, he's averaging 8.9 yards per carry. He's carried it 32 times for 286 yards and two touchdowns. He runs well for someone over 200-pounds and ran through Alcovy earlier this year for 115 yards and one touchdown on just five carries. He's been a big-play back who could see more and more opportunities come his way as he closes out the final stretch of his high school season.

A speedy senior back who can make defenders miss in the open field, Irastorza is a sleeper back in the metro-Atlanta area having an impressive final season. He's an above-average athlete who runs really well in a muscular 5-foot-10 190-pound frame. He can run through tackles and is agile enough to create space and pick up yards after first contact. The Dunwoody ball-carrier has rushed for 758 yards and eight touchdowns this season through his first seven games. He's rushed for at least 100 yards in five games this season and has rushed for a touchdown in six of his eight games. He's easily been one of the top 2026 running backs in the region so far this fall.

A dynamic back in the Acworth area with impressive straight-line speed, Corpus is another muscular track who can also break tackles and pick up tough yards after first contact. He runs hard, is tough to tackle up high, and can completely take over games on the ground. He's run for an impressive 1,-22 yards through his first six games and has run for at least 100 yards in five of those games. Over his last two games against Woodland and Dalton, Corpus has rushed for a combined 536 yards and 8 touchdowns. He's been one of the most productive backs across the state since mid-September and doesn't show any signs of slowing down. He's a senior to keep a close eye on the rest of the way.

A speedy, electric back from Middle Georgia running wild right now as a senior, Anderson is a back who can score from anywhere on the field and a major weapon with the ball in his hands. He's carried the ball 75 times through his first seven games for 848 yards and seven touchdowns. He's rushed for at least 100 yards in every game but one and has rushed for a touchdown in every game but two. He may be on the smaller side, but he's a one of the fastest backs in the area and is averaging an impressive 11.3 yards per carry. He's a big-play weapon and will be an easy addition to the next 2026 Prep Redzone rankings this winter.

Another North Georgia running back having a terrific senior season, Vaughn is a dynamic two-way standout from Chickamauga who is running through defenses on a consistent basis right now. One of the better athletes in the region, Vaughn is also a tough, gritty player who can power through defenders and take off down the field. He's run the ball 110 times this season for an impressive 796 yards and 13 touchdowns. He's rushed for at least 100 yards in eight of his seven games and has rushed for a touchdown in five of his seven games well. He's also rushed for at least three touchdowns in four of his seven games. He deserves a lot of credit for the season he's having and should see a bump in the next 2026 Prep Redzone rankings.
