There has been a plethora of great performances that lit up gridirons across Colorado during Week 7. From show stopping quarterbacks to gravity defining wide receivers, there was something for all walks of football life. In today's article, I will be diving into some of these performances.

Andrews was picture perfect last against Denver South. He went 15/16 for 201 yards and 3 TDs, with 3 carries for 30 yards and 1 touchdown on the ground. I continue to pound the rock that he is a top QB prospect and should be recruited as such. I rarely give out elite grades, and he has multiple. He has elite release and elite throw power. Andrews fits the ball in very tight windows and maintains his accuracy. Andrews will go through his reads, not honing in on one guy. He has very good mental processing, and is a decisive quarterback. Very good accuracy for short, medium, and deep ball. Very good accuracy while throwing on the run. Very good ball placement skills. He'll lead the WR in stride with the ball, throw it above the WR & DB's head, or on the money depending on the situation. Very good pocket presence and mobility. Very good scramble ability to make defenders miss. He's exactly what you want from a QB and has continued to develop each year. Colleges that don't recruit him are doing themselves a disservice.

Watson had himself a NIGHT. The 5'11 185-pound senior had 7 receptions for 197 yards and 4 touchdowns. Watson has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, change of direction, and jumping. Very good release at the line of scrimmage against both off coverage and press jam. He uses his quick feet to get the upper hand. Very good separation quickness due to his athletic ability, and finding voids in the zone. Watson is a crisp route runner. Good ball tracking skills and very good catching. Very good ball adjustment skills, he adjusts to the ball whether it's high or low, and makes the catch. One thing of note about Watson is he's a physical blocker. He creates lanes on the perimeter for his RB or QB. After the catch, he uses his home run speed to blaze into the endzone. He's a dawg.

Rowell had a statement game against Rock Canyon. The senior QB threw for 190 yards and 2 TDs on 8/12 for 66.7% completion rate. He also ran the ball 10 times for 110 yards and 2 touchdowns. Rowell has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, good speed, and change of direction. Rowell has a good release and very good throw power. One thing of note was his ball placement skills. He was accurate and decisive while fitting the ball in tight windows. He has very good scramble ability, and throw on the run. If everyone was covered, he'd run for the first down. Rowell stayed poised in the pocket under pressure, not putting the ball in harms way. Great game by the senior.

Rich continued his dominating linebacking streak against opponents. The 6'3 220-pound linebacker had 12 total tackles (3 solo, 9 assisted), and 2 TFL. He has good athletic ability due to good acceleration, lateral quickness and speed. Very controlled body movements and is patient during option games. Good range to prowl the field. Demonstrates very good competitive toughness. He plays through the whistle, or will run across the field to make the tackle. Rich will also try to punch the ball out of the ball carrier's hands. He has good strength and good read and reaction time. He's a great downhill linebacker that excels against the run.

Jones has a great game against Cherokee Trail. The 6'1 225-pound defensive end had 7 total tackles (3 solo, 4 assisted), 5 TFL, and 1 sack. He has a very explosive quick start. Very good acceleration, speed, and lateral agility. Very good strength. Very good get of speed. Very good block shedding. He is a monster on the edge. Demonstrates his very good bend and powerful bull rush. He has relentless pursuit. One thing of note is he is patient on read option plays, choosing the correct read. He has a high motor and doesn't stop till the play is finished. Keep an eye on him.
