October football in Ohio is separation season. The best prospects are stacking production with championship habits, and this week we saw elite accuracy, power run games, and defense that travels. These are the performances that jumped off the tape.

[player_tooltip player_id='970982' first='Brayden' last='DeVito'] | QB | Shelby
DeVito passed Joe Burrow on the OHSAA career passing list and did it with style. He went 18 of 22 for 305 yards and three scores in a 42–0 rivalry win over Ontario, then added 46 rushing yards with two touchdowns. He even closed a red zone series with an interception on defense. The ball jumps out of his hand, and he layered throws to Avery Lambert, [player_tooltip player_id='1678121' first='Brady' last='Bowman'], and Casyn Koch with pace and touch. Command, poise, and off-schedule creation make him a next-level quarterback.

Markale Martin & Joe Caudill | RB and QB | Lexington
Lex's balanced attack overwhelmed New Philadelphia. Martin ran for 122 on 19 carries with a score, flashing vision and contact balance. Caudill was surgical at 12 of 18 for 168 yards and four touchdowns and added 97 on the ground. The QB extends plays with strong pocket movement while weaponizing [player_tooltip player_id='1417592' first='Seven' last='Allen'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1155709' first='Brayden' last='Fogle'] on the perimeter. This is playoff-ready complementary football.

Sean Tanner | QB | Mansfield Senior
Tanner maximized red-zone trips with three touchdown passes in a 34–21 win over Wooster. He distributed to Terrance Feagin and DJ Corbin and hit the defense with tempo and quick game answers. The TYs also created points on defense, a good sign for November.

[player_tooltip player_id='1934484' first='Kane' last='Stover'] | LB/RB | Highland
A school-record 25 tackles with three for loss, plus 100 yards and both touchdowns in a 13–10 overtime upset of Clear Fork. He plays downhill with striking power and short-yard burst. Program tone-setter who shows classic two-way toughness.

Brady Guegold | RB | Lucas
A workhorse performance with 216 yards and three touchdowns in a one-score win. He presses the hole, sets up blocks, and finishes runs through contact. The Cubs lean on his reliability in the four-minute offense.

Defensive Front Seven, Shelby
[player_tooltip player_id='1591653' first='Sam' last='Gwirtz'] posted seven tackles with three for loss, a sack, and a fumble recovery. [player_tooltip player_id='1412485' first='Carter' last='Kessler'] and Brice Sampsel combined for 19 tackles, five TFL,s and two sacks. This front plays with gap discipline and violent hands, creating chaos for the opposing offensive linemen.

Griffin Osborne | DB | North Union
A three-interception night in a 28–20 win over Springfield Northwestern. Osborne showed route recognition and the patience to finish at the catch point. Ball skills are projectable to the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='450427' first='Brysen' last='Hall'] | QB | Wadsworth
The sophomore detonated Nordonia with five first-half touchdown passes and finished 13 of 19 for 318 yards in a 62–21 statement. He pushes the ball vertically with ease and shows calm feet when protection moves. Air Force pledge [player_tooltip player_id='1589292' first='Calix' last='Lemp'] and Army pledge [player_tooltip player_id='1154066' first='Gavin' last='Madigan'] give him matchup nightmares to attack.
