Eulo put together one of the best single game receiving performances in not just the school's history but the entire state. The Mustangs senior wideout was unstoppable in the team's 63-7 win over Lenoir City where he brought in 12 receptions for over 300 yards and four touchdowns against the Panthers. Eulo has missed some time this year due to injury but when he has been on the field, he's been one of the more productive receivers in the state. Currently ranked as a Top 20 senior wideout, Eulo is a hidden gem with excellent college traits that could be a steal come signing day.

The Tigers coaching staff has been waiting all season long for Hood to have his coming out party and it happened in “Week Nine” where Hood went off for one of the best individual performances in school's history. This senior two-way talent was sensational out of the backfield where he produced over 450 yards rushing along with six touchdowns. He even made a big play on defense with a pick six interception. Hood was a man among boys in the team's commanding win over Cocke County, which was the Tigers second victory of the 2025 season.

Known for getting after the quarterback throughout his high school career, Coffey was at it again in “Week Nine” where he constantly disrupted the Austin-East backfield in the Hornets 41-27 victory. This senior D-lineman produced a monster game with 9 total tackles, 6 of them for loss and 5 sacks against the Roadrunners. This was the best game of the season for Coffey and maybe a sign towards the Hornets defensive lineman stepping up and dominating into postseason play.

O-line Unit of the Week

Hendersonville Commandos (Key Players: [player_tooltip player_id='1602208' first='Colt' last='Patterson'], Teagan Parizek)

- The Commandos needed a big performance from their O-line in “Week Nine” and they received it in the 37-36 overtime win over Station Camp. It was a slow start in this contest for the Hendersonville offense but after some adjustments, they started moving the ball with ease, especially with [player_tooltip player_id='1960150' first='Tate' last='Rumney'] and their rushing attack. Their O-line was a major reason for finding offensive success and a big part in leading the team to victory. If the Commandos can receive more performances like this, they could develop into a tough out during the playoffs.

Positional Players of the Week

QB: J.D. Gillum - Anderson Co. ‘29 (Stats: 17-23 passing for 420 yds & 7 TD's)

- The Mavericks put up 80 points in their win over Union Co. last week with Gillum running the show and producing his best game of the season. This freshman signal caller put up 420 yards passing and 7 touchdowns while tossing only six incompletions. Gillum was decisive, steady and explosive, showing why he has a bright future in a Mavericks uniform.

- This two-way backer had his best performance of the year on offense in the Bucs 62-29 win over cross-county rival Gallatin. Williams was efficient in this victory as he only carried the ball 13 times but ran for 188 yards while scoring five touchdowns. His power running and deceptive speed into the open field proved to be a problem for the Green Wave defense.

WR: [player_tooltip player_id='1181026' first='Zaydyn' last='Anderson'] - Greeneville (Stats: 6 rec. for 245 yds & 4 TD's)

- This future SEC pass catcher was dominating in the Green Devils' commanding 42-7 win last week over Volunteer where Anderson hauled in six receptions for 245 yards and four touchdowns. Anderson is been nearly unstoppable this season, producing at a high level week in and week out with “Week Nine” being his best performance of the season.

- The Smoky Bears handled business last week in their 35-7 win over Tennessee High with Newman becoming a major factor in the victory. This two-way talent is beginning to form into a nice tight end prospect for college, especially with performances like last week where he generated 9 receptions for 166 yards and three touchdowns along with being a main contributor on defense as well.

DL/Edge: Gavin Jacobs - Spring Hill ‘27 (Stats: 7 tcks, 5 TFL, 1 QBP, 1 FF & 4.5 sacks)

- The Raiders picked up a big region win last week versus Battle Creek where Jacobs had his coming out party with 7 tackles, five of them for loss and 4.5 sacks in the victory. The Spring Hill defense had one of their better performances of the year, shutting out Battle Creek with Jacobs and their defensive line being a major force towards earning the win.

LB: [player_tooltip player_id='1885943' first='Zane' last='Nash'] - Columbia Central ‘27 (Stats: 12 tcks, 2 TFL & 2 sacks)

- The Lions picked up a huge win last week over Lincoln Co. with Nash and their defense playing a big role in the victory. His activity around the ball was outstanding where he produced 12 total tackles with two of them for loss and two sacks against the Falcons. Nash is a gritty, physical backer that has shown upside with his instincts at consistently finding the football.

DB: Aven Mitchell - Pigeon Forge ‘28 (Stats: 5 tcks, 3 PD & 3 Int's)

- This sophomore defensive back was a nuisance, a ball hawk against Cocke Co. in “Week Nine” as Mitchell not only helped with tackling support but also performed above his head in the secondary. The Tigers defender picked off three passes in the victory, displaying excellent instincts while being in the right place at the right time.
