Rumney proved to be a difference maker in this contest as he ran for 305 yards on 39 carries and one touchdown. While he only produced one score, the Commandos junior back generated several big runs that kept drives alive. He was the one player that the Station Camp defense didn’t have an answer for and could not bottle up. This was a coming out party for Rumney as it placed him on the map as a back to watch for our junior class and someone I think has more levels to his game with further development.
