(-11.5) #1 Lake Oswego @ #4 Tualatin

LO has outscored its four opponents 140-17 thus far, which included a shutout of #3 Central Catholic. POY favorite [player_tooltip player_id='402416' first='Lamarcus' last='Bell'] and 1st team all-state LB/RB [player_tooltip player_id='1059015' first='Justin' last='Craigwell'] have done their thing out of the backfield but it's the D that has been dominant. The T-Wolves haven't missed a beat after graduating a talented senior class, sitting at 4-0 and averaging a 41-8 victory each week. They have a young roster but much like West Linn some of the best young talent in the NW. Look for the T-Wolves line to be a key indicator of how they will compete. 6-7 tackle [player_tooltip player_id='1110967' first='Connor' last='LaGrow'] is currently the fastest rising prospect in the state, recently landing a handful of D1 offers. He will need to play the game of his life for Tualatin.

(-47.5) #2 West Linn @ Tigard

The Lions have played extremely well all year with a relatively young roster. Tigard had some momentum before the 35-31 loss to Sherwood last week. West Linn's 41-0 beatdown of traditional Washington power Camas puts this game into perspective.

(-44) #3 Central Catholic @ Clackamas

CC has played one of the toughest schedules of any program in the NW and is still a 6A contender. Clack has one of the better QB/WR tandems in the state with [player_tooltip player_id='402407' first='Dylan' last='Brower'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1585698' first='Justin' last='Larsen'], but this one will likely be over quickly.

(-16) #5 Willamette @ #14 West Salem

I will be interested to see how the (4-0) Titans play, after a 1 TD victory against a decent but winless North Medford program last week. This game will be telling from a conference title standpoint. If Willamette is the dominant program, we think they could be, they should be able to drop the hammer here.

#13 Oregon City @ #6 Lakeridge (-16.5)

OC played one of the most impressive games in the region last week, getting a 33-7 win over a Skyview program that has traditionally been one of the best in Washington. If they can compete and hang with Lakeridge it will be extremely telling with the Pacers featuring numerous D1 athletes.

(-46.5) #7 Nelson @ Barlow

Nelson is a good football team that will have a real shot at a conference title if they show up against CC. They have played one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the NW. This should be over by half at the latest.

#12 Sunset @ #8 Mountainside (-15.5)

The Mavericks are playing good football with [player_tooltip player_id='1232699' first='Cade' last='Mitchell'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1566148' first='Sean' last='Gerigk'] both putting up some impressive numbers thus far. Sunset lost 56-40 to #10 Newberg last week but has the potential to compete in the Metro. This will be a statement game for both teams heading into Metro League play.

(-22) #9 Jesuit @ Westview

It has been the [player_tooltip player_id='1591586' first='Luke' last='Ortner'] show for most of the season. Jesuit's losses to Tualatin and Central Catholic were respectable, although the 30-point defeat to CC was somewhat unexpected. Westview had a tough 37-19 loss last week to a much-improved Glencoe team. If they can compete with the Crusaders, it would say a lot about their chances in the Metro.

Century @ #10 Newberg (-49)

Newberg has their best team in a number of years and as of right now are a conference title favorite. This will likely be over after Q1.

Reynolds @ #11 Sandy (-37)

This year's Sandy team has a legit shot of winning a few playoff games. They have played a tough non-conference schedule with losses to Lakeridge and Wilsonville. They will dominate here.

#15 Sherwood @ #15 Glencoe (PICK EM')

The first game of the Pacific Conference season will have major playoff implications. The Crimson Tide are 4-0 and thriving but have gotten their teeth kicked in by Sherwood for a number of years. That will not be the case this season. Sherwood has momentum after a big 35-31 win over Tigard last week. Expect this to be one of the best games statewide.
