Week 9 was a big one throughout the entire state of Ohio. With many playoff-like performances from athletes this past week, I want to highlight some of those who had a tremendous week. This is part one of a two part series, so make sure to take a look at the following article!

Boston broke the state record for receiving touchdowns in a single game, hauling in seven receiving touchdowns in a 71-52 victory over South Gallia. Boston is a threat in all three phases of the ball. He acts as a punt returner, wide receiver, and plays defensive back. He works on the outside, providing a deep threat presence that defensive backs have to respect. He does a great job of tracking the football as it comes to him. He's a good athlete and can still work to fill out his frame a bit.

Eric was Boston's quarterback, feeding him the ball, and he tied the state record for passing touchdowns in a single game, with 10 passing touchdowns. Eric is one of Ohio's most slept on quarterback prospects, but has put on great tape over the past two seasons. He leads his receivers to get yards after the catch and can accurately place balls downfield. He's got the size and arm strength to play at the collegiate level, and I'm excited to see where he ends up.

Noah was Springboro's top target in their 30-20 victory over Centerville. He caught 8 passes for 148 yards and 2 touchdowns. He can work at every level. He's got versatility in working both the boundary and cutting inside on short and intermediate routes. He's got a well-built frame and is someone with deceptive speed down the field.

Dallas was a complete package for Westerville North this past Friday. He finished with 8 tackles, 2 sacks, and 2 TFLs. He's a plus athlete with a good frame. He can crash down to pursue the ball and tackles well at the point of contact. He can play in the box and deep as a safety. De'von is a versatile piece for the Westerville North defense.
