After an explosive offseason, [player_tooltip player_id='1255132' first='Jay' last='Sanders'] returned to full form in his return onto the field in 2025, finishing as one of the biggest playmakers in the conference. Sanders finished with 630 receiving yards on just 30 receptions (21 YPC) while leading Class 3A with 10 receiving TDs. Sanders had no problems running following his injury, and resuming with his sharp, violent cuts, Sanders was able to win his reps with his footwork and follow by outracing everyone to the endzone. Sanders will look to extend his TD total through the postseason.

Alex Asmus has been a top baseball and basketball prospect, and his athleticism has translated very well on the gridiron. Asmus led all Class 3A receivers as a junior with 639 receiving yards on 30 receptions (21.3 YPC) and 7 TDs. Asmus has the frame to excel as a 1-on-1 down-the-field target, and his jump ball skills are extremely good, being able to pluck the ball through double coverage. A fluid target that can burn CBs deep while also getting steady yardage on short routes, Asmus has been the focal point of the Tigers' passing game all season. Asmus has been so talented as an athlete that he has a good shot playing at either of these sports at the next level.

Another addition from Minneapolis North's loaded passing game, [player_tooltip player_id='1580268' first='Anthony' last='Deline'] has also lived up to expectations as an explosive threat on offense. Deline finished with 636 receiving yards on 32 receptions (19.9 YPC) and 8 receiving TDs. His 4.5 40 yard time has continued to flash clearly, and he was able to take any small lane of space and turn it into a big play after the catch. Deline showed excellent ball tracking skills and timing with his hands, while also remaining nimble with his feet and being able to reach his top-end speed quickly off the ball. Both Deline and Sanders have D1 offers from St. Thomas, and with how they've been playing, they could see more by the end of this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1648537' first='Carter' last='Conn'] quickly established himself as a premium threat in Class 3A this season, and he will be taking his talents to Winona State heading into next season. Conn finished his senior year with 513 receiving yards on 26 receptions (19.7 YPC) and 7 TDs. A singular force with pristine route-running ability, Conn had the ability to torch defenders with his quick change of direction and fluid agility. Conn also flashed with his outstanding ability to high-point jump passes over defenders on the sideline, reeling in some ridiculous catches in that area. Conn will look to continue enforcing his presence as Albert Lea heads to the semifinal round this Saturday.

[player_tooltip player_id='1602750' first='Jeremiah' last='Jackson']'s workload wasn't quite as big as last year, but he made the most of his reps, finishing with 449 yards on just 20 receptions (22.4 YPC) and 7 TDs. Jackson's big play potential was very clearly evident, consistently excelling as a vertical threat, and was on the receiving end of some really impressive contested catches. His agile hip rotation, great ball-tracking ability, and sound blocking makes him a very solid WR all-around. Jackson may be overlooked within the Polars' dominant passing offense, but his sheer playmaking ability certainly warrants attention, and he will look to shine brightly as the Polars will look to complete an undefeated run this season.

It was hard to ignore how much Owen Harstad was able to do despite not getting as many catches as other players on this list. Harstad caught just 16 passes, but he racked up 420 yards (26.2 YPC) and 7 TDs. A clear vertical threat for Pine Island, Harstad showed great top-end speed, and a little bit of separation in coverage went a long way as Harstad was able to consistently burn CBs to the outside. Harstad also showed great hands, including an effortless one-handed reception early on in the season against Winona Cotter with the defender draped on him that was easily one of the best across the entire state this season. For how successful Pine Island has been on the ground, Harstad has done quite a bit to reinvigorate their passing game this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1880478' first='Jacayre' last='Smith'] has stood out for Camden as a multi-purpose tool for the Patriots. Smith finished with 411 receiving yards on 28 receptions and 4 TDs. He also ran for 334 yards and 3 rushing TDs, averaging an impressive 10.4 YPC. Smith has some of the best hand-eye coordination I've seen from a receiver in the state, which has allowed him to reel in some crazy catches against strong coverage. An excellent deep threat with great hands, Smith doesn't shy away from contact, and his penchant for physicality also makes him useful as a runner and in run-blocking. Smith should see his stock rise within our rankings heading into his senior campaign.
