He plays some RB, while also being an impact player in the return game, but makes him home at CB.

While only 5'7" right now, DJ does have nice length and a frame that makes him look the part even at that height. A physical player on D as well, DJ plays bigger than his size and will throw his body into a tackle. He's got twitchy, fluid hips and quick feet that help him make plays in every facet of the game. Specifically, allows him to hold up in tight man coverage. Staying on the receivers hip, able to change direction and run the route. DJ will then use his length to get his hands in the way of the pass for PBUs. Look for DJ to continue to impress over the years and be a standout player for Bel Air going forward.

Blessed to be ranked #9 DB in Md for the class of 29”….Still coming for the top spot pic.twitter.com/AukVn2hVl8
— Dj (@Djweb2010) September 29, 2025

Brayden is a freshman QB who got the start from game 1 for Patuxent and has been playing as if he was a multi year varsity starter already. In 4 games he has 844 passing yards, on 69% passing with 9 TDs and only 1 interception. That is excellent production for a freshman that has gone up against some top teams on the year already.

He may only be 5'10" right now but he stands tall in the pocket and can shoot it down field. Throws with good timing & anticipation and in the rhythm with the offense. Already showing he is a good decision maker with his high completion percentage and limited turnovers. As Brayden continues to grow and get stronger he will only be more dangerous as thrower back in the pocket. Certainly a QB to keep eyes on going forward.

Congratulations to the following SMAC Athletes on being named MPSSAA Week 4 Stars:@patuxentfootbal's [player_tooltip player_id='1894417' first='Brayden' last='Watson'] (@_braytotuff)@CalvertFootball's [player_tooltip player_id='377531' first='Jordan' last='Johnson'] (@JordanQB2026) https://t.co/KDRIpRqY6R
— SMAC Football (@SMAC_Football) September 30, 2025

Sean is a player who contributes on both sides for the line for SJCP and has made an impact for them already. He is their starting LT which is no small feat for freshman and makes plays at DT as well.

With good frame at 6'3" 240 and a frame that should allow him to get to 275lbs+ and carry it well, he will the the size colleges will look for. Sean shows good power and leverage at the point of attack. On both sides of the ball you can see his athleticism, being light on his feet and showing good lateral movement. As he continues to grow, get stronger, and develop, you can see a high ceiling for his game.

https://t.co/GRWtLavv5b
Freshman varsity tape VS. With good size and build already at 6'0" 190, Levi fits the mold of tackling machine from the MLB spot.

First thing you notice about Levi is fast reactions and football instincts. He shows a high football IQ for a freshman. Quick to read & identify plays and fast to close on the ball. He is always around the ball and is a physical player. Levi will come downhill and strike, as well as get sideline to sideline closing on ball carriers. Able to take on blockers and stuff the ball at the LOS, make plays in the backfield, as well as play in space and show cover ability. Levi is a well rounded do it all LB who will be a standout player for years to come, and is already getting his name on colleges radar.

Had a great game day visit at Bucknell University, thank you @Rom34Smith and @CoachMurd40 for taking the time to talk to us, hope to be back on campus soon!! pic.twitter.com/DFHH1q07Gn
— [player_tooltip player_id='1894085' first='Levi' last='House'] (@Levi11House) September 21, 2025

Basil comes in as the #3 RB in the 2029 rankings in what has the potential to be a very strong RB class down the line. He is getting more and more work each with McDonogh and starting to make his impact felt.

His last game against St. Mary's was his best so far racking up 56 yards and a touchdown. On the year so far he is averaging 9.1 ypc , and while he doesn't have huge amount of carries yet I can see that ypc staying high. The main reason for that is speed and Basil has it. A high level track runner he is a 7x Junior Olympian and has ran a 10.78 100M already. He may be on the smaller stature right now but that doesn't matter if defenders can't catch him. He's not just straight line fast either. Basil has great twitch and wiggle with the ball in his hands. He can cut on a dime and burst out and with his elusiveness he makes it hard for the defender to get a clean hit or angle on him. I can see Basil developing into a big time playmaker in the future. An offensive weapon that can line up in multiple spots on the field to make impact plays for McDonogh.

Some clips from my game against Riverdale Baptist! @McDonoghFB pic.twitter.com/aUMYxOH7Bd
— [player_tooltip player_id='1894139' first='Basil' last='Oshegbo'] (@BasilOshegbo12) August 23, 2025

Taking a deeper look at the recent 2029 MD/DC/DE rankings. I focus on players that are being impact players for their teams or names that I can see becoming stars down the line. These prospects are all have shown to have strong skill sets or specific traits that allow them to be high potential players.
