Owen stood out in warm-ups and from play one for Bel Air. He's a big, physical OL, standing 6'5" 290 and playing LT for the Bobcats. All games long Owen showed off his strength, power and drives in his blocking of the Overlea defenders. Owen is a monster in the RBK game. A war daddy, junk yard dog type who plays through the whistle. When get gets engaged with the DL, Owen overpowers them, and takes them out of the play. All game long I watched him bury DL in the ground, move them down the field and block them out of frame.

He has the mentality, strength and physical play to be a dominate OL. Owen recently just picked up his first P4 offer from Virginia Tech and I would expect more to come shortly.

Will is a player I have seen many times over the years and he still continues to impress me when I get eyes on him, always fine tuning & adding to his game. He didn't have a huge stat line, but that's because he didn't really need to as QO dominated their competition. Drakeford finished with 9/12 passing for 175 yds, 2 TDs, 75 rushing yards & 1 rushing TD.

I was impressed during the game with Will's pocket awareness and decision making. He stood tall, moved around the rush and threw some pretty deep/touch passes for big plays. He was very accurate and consistent with his throws. Hitting passes across all the three levels and different throwing angles/trajectories. I also liked how dangerous he was with his running. Will knew when to escape the pocket and move the chains as well as be dangerous on designed runs. I feel his ability has a runner from the pocket has improved and has just added more to his overall game. Look for Will to have a huge senior year for Quince Orchard, leading them far this year and generating more & more interest from colleges each week.

A freshman to certainly get on your radar, I liked what I saw from Ethan in his game against a strong Gonzaga team. Ethan looks the part at CB and while he is still a pup he's got a nice frame & length for the position and should fill out well. During the game he showed off fluid hips, and smooth movements, staying in control during coverage. He's got impressive technique for a freshman, staying in the receivers hip and is able to turn and find the ball to gets himself some nice PBUs. One thing that stood out vs. Gonzaga was that Ethan is not afraid of contact. He plays bigger than his size and does not hesitate to come up and throw his body into the tackle as he did multiple times in game.

Ethan has the tools to be a natural shutdown CB, able to use his length to his advantage and shows a good feel for the game with his instincts & play reactions. Look for Ethan to be a 2029 prospect colleges start to ID as well as a top player in my upcoming 2029 PRZ rankings.

A super star for Overlea in their big win over Bel Air, Davon is a playmaker in all 3 phases of the game. My first time getting eyes on him live and he did not disappoint. Davon played RB,DB and KR/PR in the game and made plays from each spot.

A yoked up dude, with excellent length and speed, Davon looks the part of the hoof. A track runner as well with a verified 10.65 100M that translates on the field. At RB he powered the rock into the end zone for Overlea's first TD of the day and a few other electric key runs. An explosive ball carrier, he runs hard with some nice twitch. A slasher type RB, who finds the lane, creates space for himself and gets upfield quick. At DB, Davon plays fast and physical. He comes down hill with pace to make the tackle, can cover ground, and is a ball hawk. Davon is also an impact player in the return game. He had a punt return for a score where he knifed through the defense and out ran everyone down the sideline. A sleeper prospect, look for Davon to generate strong interest from colleges as the season goes along.

Presley is a player who's play is on the rise and a prospect I look forward to watching more in the future. Stood out immediately in warm-ups, great frame/build, he will easily bulk up with good muscle over the years. Presley is used as an edge rusher for WJ, able to play stand up OLB or with his hand in the dirt at DE. Presley comes fast off the snap, runs hard, will lay a hit. He was responsible for single handedly putting a stop to some of QO's drives with his plays. One of those being when he timed the snap perfectly, fired off & flatten down the line with speed to tackle the RB in the backfield for a nice TFL. Presley plays with a good motor and can see him developing into a pass rushing DE with that burst he possesses.

Asheton share split time duty at RB for Gonzaga in their win over Loyola, but the carries he did have he certainly made the most of. With 2 of Gonzaga's biggest runs of the day, Asheton showed excellent twitch & make you miss ability. He runs hard, getting his pads low at the POA and is able to wiggle his way to space at the LOS. Once in the open field, Asheton has impressive wiggle and quick shifty feet. He makes strong cuts and put a juke & shimmy on the Loyola safety that had him on his heels falling back as Asheton ran off for a 40 yd gain. He shows off good hands as well, able to be a playmaking receiver out of the backfield or in the screen game.

A nice change of pace RB, Asheton runs with burst, good balance and is dangerous in open space. Look for him to increase his workload for Gonzaga as the year goes along. He is a playmaking RB who should start to see his name get noticed by colleges and be a big camp prospect next summer.
