Week Two Prospects to Add to Your Recruiting Board

We'll be highlighting new names that we add to our recruiting board that colleges should also consider. He has waited his turn to earn extended varsity playing time as a senior, behind some talented athletes, and has made an impact for the Patriots through the first two weeks of the season. Davis is a good second option in the back field behind breakout freshman RB [player_tooltip player_id='1826125' first='Jaden' last='Black'] and made some plays against Hurricane last week. He's known for his play on the basketball court, but has come out for football as a senior for his new school and has made an immediate impact for the Cougars on both sides of the ball. Greene could play either sport at the next level, but his football ceiling is very high as a 6'4 225 athlete. Smith was considered the #1 QB in the 2028 class by our PA site and bolsters an already deep and talented class here in WV. He got the start against Robert C. Byrd in their first game of the season, and Smith had an efficient night for the Polar Bears as he continues to adjust to a new program. He completed 12/20 passes for 135 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the 35-9 win. Rhodes is your typical downhill thumper at the position and can play inside or outside. He has past defensive back experience, but has developed into a more linebacker-like physique as a junior. Miller is an athletic option at outside linebacker who can be versatile in where he's aligned and how he's used. He has an athletic body type that can be further molded in the future. Christian has athletic traits and size that translate well to the position as he develops his pass rush moves more in time. He's undersized for the position right now, but has done some nice things off the end for the Patriots this season. They'll even line him up inside at times on the defensive line and let him rush the passer from the interior. Franke's body type projects better as a stand-up edge rusher if he can develop the bend and flexibility needed for the position.
