Week Four marks a turning point in the season as teams begin to reveal who they truly are. For some, it's the last tune-up before the grind of region play, while for others, it's already a fight to stay above .500. Momentum gained or lost this week will carry heavy weight moving forward, making these games crucial for setting the tone in the weeks ahead. Here are Week Four's Best Games:

Pinnacle (3-0) vs Higley (3-0)

Two high-flying 6A defenses will collide this Friday night as the Pinnacle Pioneers will head to Gilbert to take on the Higley Knights. Pinnacle has been on a tear, shutting out Corona Del Sol 35-0 in their last game, while Higley took care of business against Mesa with a 25-13 win. The main headline of this matchup is Pinnacle's defense, which has not allowed a single point in its last three games. They are led by DL Sean Anderson, DL [player_tooltip player_id='1682193' first='Haydon' last='Franklin'], and DB [player_tooltip player_id='401163' first='Jai' last='Ewing']. Can the Higley offense led by QB [player_tooltip player_id='1134311' first='Gunner' last='Fagrell'] and his partner WR Josh Asaro break that streak? We will have to wait and find out. Higley's defense has been lights out as well, allowing an average of 10.6 points per game. This unit will continue leaning on its playmakers in the secondary in BYU Commit DB [player_tooltip player_id='1177547' first='Justice' last='Brathwaite'] and DB [player_tooltip player_id='1399757' first='Nasim' last='Eason'].

Centennial (2-1) vs Queen Creek (3-0)

Another dynamic 6A matchup that will shape the conference takes place as the Centennial Coyotes head to Queen Creek to face the Bulldogs. Centennial is coming off an absolute dominant outing against Desert Ridge, winning 71-6. Queen Creek is riding early-season momentum after defeating Cesar Chavez 36-18. The Coyotes offense is looking dangerous as sophomore QB [player_tooltip player_id='1325884' first='Titus' last='Hill'] is coming off a great ball game, having 270 passing yards and 3 TDs along with 37 rushing yards and a rushing TD. His go-to target, Senior WR Carter Reidy, had 188 of those receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. However, he's not the only player coming into this game off a dominant performance. Queen Creek's DB Tustin Dewitt had 9 total tackles, 5 of those as solo tackles, 3 INTs, and a pair of pass deflections against Cesar Chavez. Should have an excellent matchup on the outside of Dewitt vs Reidy that will be competitive all night long. Queen Creek's RB Jaden Gearing is coming off his best game with 86 rushing yards and a rushing TD. He will look to be the main driver of this Queen Creek offense.

Desert Edge (3-0) vs ALA - Gilbert North (3-0)

Two undefeated 5A juggernauts will square off this Friday night as the Desert Edge Scorpions will head to Gilbert to take on the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles. Desert Edge is continuing to churn out consitent performances as they were able to get by Norte Dame Prep, 27-14. Meanwhile the Eagles are looking scary on offense, beating Buena High 42-14. The connection of junior QB Ben Livington and WR Issac Massey is well alive as they found the endzone on 4 separate occasions against Buena. Desert Edge DE [player_tooltip player_id='1127575' first='Jalanie' last='George'] will hope to disrupt this connection by wreaking havoc on this ALA-Gilbert North offensive line. Additionally, sophomore Desert Edge RB [player_tooltip player_id='1114228' first='Byron' last='Brandon'] will look to stay hot after putting 121 rushing yards on the ground and 1 rushing TD in his previous outing.
