Week 3 Film Room: X Submissions, Part II

Harris is an intriguing athlete, coming in at a cut 6'0 190 and a T/F background that includes an 11.3 time in the 100M. Harris is a lot to handle for his current level of competition. He can separate with and without the ball and can jump high enough to win above the rim. He plays both ways as well. Baert runs with a low center of gravity at 5'8 185. He runs hard into congested areas, puts his head down, and drives at contact. He can power through arm tackles. He is an exceptionally explosive athlete, getting to his top speed in a hurry. Against his current level of competition, he is hard to catch and outruns leverage. He can create his own yards, but he is physical as well. His versatility and pursuit skills put him in a position to make plays all over the field. Long term, he will project more as an off-ball LB. He has a long, lean frame with plenty of room for physical growth and refinement. At RB, he is light enough on his feet to shuffle into new running lanes. Long term, I think he projects best as an LB.
