Lord shows out in his first varsity start. I wasn't planning on writing him up again, but after going 15/15 for 219 yards and 5 TDs, I don't have a choice. Lord carries out RPO run fakes extremely well for a Freshman. He also does a great job of keeping his head downfield and throwing on the move with accuracy. Everything he does is smooth and under control, he has very little wasted body motion. Truthfully, he is playing like a college QB already in terms of decision making and efficiency. He also has the size and arm talent to make him an elite level prospect. He has potential to be one of the best HS players 757 has ever seen. I believe he is already one of the best QBs in VA. Lord is currently ranked #2 in Prep Redzone VA 2029 rankings. He has upcoming visits at Syracuse and Norfolk St, and an upcoming photoshoot with the Lemming Report. Lord is in high demand!

Logan put up great numbers in the season opener. He went 18/23 for 303 yds and 4 TDs. He looks very comfortable in the new offense. He is making quick decisions and throwing the ball all over the field to multiple targets. He is showing progression, throwing to the check down receiver with timing and effectiveness, allowing the receiver to rip off long gains. He may not have great distance on deep ball, but he throws with good velocity on intermediate routes. His timing and decisiveness are are truly impressive and getting better. Logan will throw for a lot of yards, but with few interceptions. Churchland is a sleeper team in 757 who has the weapons and linemen to to have a great season.

Alex balled out Friday as he threw for 255 yds/73% comp/3TDs. Bethel routed Patrick Henry 53-0. Lewis can be the QB who changes the narrative at Bethel coming off 5-6 and 6-5 seasons the last two years. He can spin the Ball!!! He shows accuracy, BP, and a fluid throwing motion. I like his footwork and patience in the pocket. He always keeps his head downfield and lets the play develop, even when protection isn't great. If you're looking for a true QB, this is a guy. He may not have a rocket arm, but has the other QB attributes you can't teach. He has great timing and regularly throws kids open. He does not give up on the play and makes smart decisions. He will make an FCS/D2 program very happy. He can be a starter at next level.

Aqui is a bowling ball, but in all the right ways. He is a great between the tackles back and does a great job of following his blocks for a freshman. He will come in handy as Churchland gets into their eastern district schedule and playoff schedule. Aqui moves great for a kid his size. He shows elusiveness, cutting ability, and vision, but looks to deliver punishment as a back. If he learns to make the last guy miss, as opposed to pay, he will break off more long TD runs. Right now he is still trying to run kids over because he's coming from Pop Warner. If he can learn to show elusiveness at 2nd 3rd level, he will be more of a home run threat. Don't see elite break away speed or burst, but see great contact balance and a kid who keeps the chains moving. I expect he will become a more complete back in the next 3 years. Has the tools and body to be one of the best HS players in 757. Aqui had 12 rushes, 107 yds, 1 TD

Tracy Pope was all over the place, standing out in Warwick's tight loss to Mallard Creek. Tracy was a key reason the Raiders only gave up 130 yards of offense and 3 points to Mallard Creek. Pope had 9 tackles/1 sack/1 Int/2TFL. He returned the interception to the goal line. Tracy is long, athletic, instinctive, and has knack for making plays. He will continue to gain college interest as the season progresses. Look forward to tracking this game changer at the HS level who projects nicely to a D3/D2 program.
