Recruiting Report (9/24)- Newest Offers Across the State

We're back with a new Recruiting Report!   Today, we're diving into some of the recent recruiting news across the state. These prospects have been on fire this week, so we're diving into the latest surrounding their recruitment.   As always, make sure you watch their film below! You won't want to miss out on this kind of talent.    [player_tooltip player_id='1621627' first='Dadrien' last='Waller'], a dominant WR from Guntersville, made news the other day by picking up his first SEC offer.   "At 6'5 200, Waller is great at pairing his size with his quickness, hands, and route running to make huge plays all around the field. Despite his size, Waller is shifty and a really talented route-runner- he gains lots of separation off a wide variety of routes at every level of the field.   Waller is a monster after the catch. His size and speed make it incredibly hard for defenders to take him down. Waller's also a terrific blocker. He dominates smaller DBs, consistently paving them into the dirt for his teammates, another valuable skill he has out wide."   Over the weekend, Waller picked up another offer from Mississippi State!   Waller is currently committed to Cincinnati- I'm interested in seeing if playing in the SEC is something that could change his mind moving forward. We'll have to keep an eye out moving forward.      [player_tooltip player_id='1610204' first='Jamaine' last='Lewis'] has been dominant for Hueytown's defensive line and has continued to pick up more attention from the next level.   “Lewis is a big dude who plays with some really impressive speed. He causes problems down the line of scrimmage and makes offenses work to do anything against him. Lewis has excellent pursuit skills; he makes some highlight reel sideline-to-sideline plays- it's seriously impressive watching him hunt down the ball carrier at his size.   Lewis is also terrific at holding his own in the trenches- he fights off blocks and completely dominates the OL across from him, consistently generating great penetration on the LOS. Lewis might be one of the top run defenders in our 2027 class. He causes so much trouble with how well he controls and dominates the line.“   In the last few days, Lewis has received offers from Memphis and Tennessee State!   Lewis has emerged as a top-tier DL in his class. I'm excited to watch him for the rest of this season. Do yourself a favor and check out some of his film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1635119' first='Miguel' last='Wilson'] has been a lockdown DB in Vigor's secondary, and continues to find success out on the recruiting trail.   “Wilson is incredibly versatile and can make plays in a wide variety of ways as a DB- whether it be out in coverage, against the run, or as a blitzer. Wilson finds ways to impact every snap out in the secondary. Quarterbacks should think twice about throwing his direction, he's a really talented coverage corner with terrific hands and ball skills he uses to jar and pick off passes around the field.   I'm most impressed with Wilson's physicality- he is terrific man-to-man and has no problem flying downfield to deliver huge hits to the ballcarrier, frequently coming up with plays behind the line of scrimmage.“   Yesterday, Wilson picked up another Southern Miss!   I've had a blast watching Wilson this season. He's made a huge impact for their defense, make sure you check out some of his clips below:      We've watched [player_tooltip player_id='1888892' first='Mason' last='McClure'] dominate the last few weeks, and now he's picked up some steam on the recruiting trail.   “At 5'10 185, McClure has impressive speed, hands, and skills after the catch that make him a dangerous weapon out wide. He's quick out of his release, can gain lots of separation, and has the speed to turn upfield for some big gains.   I'm really impressed with how explosive McClure is. He has great acceleration and can change his direction effortlessly in the open field, leading to some huge gains after the catch. I'm excited to watch him progress more; he's having a great year.”   This past Sunday, McClure picked up an offer from Tennessee State!   I've been really impressed with McClure this season and think he's just getting started. Everyone needs to watch out for him moving forward.      [player_tooltip player_id='1621015' first='Joey' last='Fleming'] is our top OL in our 2028 Rankings, and has been on fire in the recruiting world over the last few months.   “At 6'6 260, Fleming is a big underclassman who already provides terrific pass protection and run blocking for his team upfront. Fleming is a hard man to beat in the trenches; he explodes off the line, plays with great leverage, and has the strength to consistently pave defenders into the dirt at the LOS and in the open field.   I'm really impressed with Fleming's ability to protect the quarterback- he's a serious anchor on the offensive line who consistently uses his athleticism and physicality to keep pass rushers outside of the pocket, providing tons of time and security for his QB.“   A few days back, Fleming picked up another SEC offer, this time from Vanderbilt!   Fleming has picked up a ton of attention, and it makes sense when you watch his tape. He's a dominant OL that could end up as one of the best in the nation.
