has been one of the most consistent DBs in the entire class since his freshman season, and last week, he announced where his next home will be.
“Wilson is incredibly versatile and can make plays in a wide variety of ways as a DB- whether it be out in coverage, against the run, or as a blitzer. Wilson finds ways to impact every snap out in the secondary. Quarterbacks should think twice about throwing his direction, he’s a really talented coverage corner with terrific hands and ball skills he uses to jar and pick off passes around the field.
I’m most impressed with Wilson’s physicality- he is terrific man-to-man and has no problem flying downfield to deliver huge hits to the ballcarrier, frequently coming up with plays behind the line of scrimmage.“
Last week, Wilson committed to Kentucky! I think he’s going to find a ton of success there. He’s a talented defender coming in with tons of experience.
Wilson is a must-watch player in the class of 2027 who has a huge final season in store for Vigor this fall. I can’t wait to watch. He has a bright future ahead.

Wilson limited targets showed the respect coaches and QBS had for him during the tournament- especially since he was on an island for most reps. He’s a proven technician at corner, showing advanced hand usage in press coverage, a fluid backpedal, and the quickness to mirror releases.
Offensively, he flashed surprising playmaking ability. With quick feet on releases and long speed to threaten vertically, he proved he’s more than just a defensive specialist. His aggression and desire to dominate reps stood out on both sides of the ball- especially at the catch point. Wilson was clearly one of the better two-way players in the event and his versatility significantly boosted his stock.

Wilson has established himself as one of the premier man-to-man corners in the state. His foot quickness, route recognition, and long speed allow him to stay in phase across all three levels of the field resulting in 4 INTS, 6 PBUS, and a well deserved All-Sate selection.
Wilson’s fluid hips and clean change of direction help him mirror even the sharpest route runners. He plays the ball like a receiver, showing reliable hands and the ability to punish quarterbacks for off-target throws. Wilson also brings an edge physically, closing air space with intent and offering lineup flexibility both outside and in the slot.

Wilson is a sticky man-to-man corner who thrives in both press and off coverage. His fluid hips, strong closing speed, and sharp change of direction allow him to blanket receivers and close air space quickly. This in addition to his press technique makes him one of the better man to man DBs left in the playoffs.
With 3 interceptions, 4 PBUs, and 2 forced fumbles, he’s proven to be a game-changer with the ball in the air. His combination of discipline and playmaking gives his defense a trusted weapon in the secondary — the type of defender who can flip a playoff game with one turnover.

Wilson demands opposing offenses’ attention every single snap. Baker should look elsewhere when throwing the ball; he can make game-changing plays anytime the ball is near him. Make sure you watch some of his clips:

Wilson lives up to the nickname Seatbelt. A bump-and-run corner with refined press technique, he thrives on physicality at the line of scrimmage. He stays in phase once the ball is in the air and is a proven playmaker against both the pass and the run. Wilson attacks the run game with aggression, delivers clean tackles, and brings a tone-setting presence to the perimeter. Simply put — when he lines up across from a receiver, he straps them down.

Smaller, cut frame. Has a varsity basketball background. Might slide inside to play nickel at the next level. Relentless pursuit skills. Explodes downhill, bursts past blockers. Arrives with violence at the point of attack. Frequently flags the ball down across the field. Light on his feet in coverage and flashes of good discipline in zone. Holds D1 offers. He will find a way to contribute at the next level if he can continue to take pride in rallying to the ball and tackling.
