Father Judge v. Lansdale Catholic, In-Person Eval/Highlights

<p class="text-gray-700">The highest ranking Father Judge prospect played like it against Lansdale Catholic. Senior WR/DB [player_tooltip player_id='1352747' first='Gavin' last='Hutz'] was laboring a minor leg injury, yet still managed to impact the football game in significant ways, this on both sides of the football. Below is a cut-up showcasing Hutz's best plays. Run stops, PBUs, catches in crucial/clutch situations. Hutz lands as a must-have target for PSAC programs, he's close to breaking the FCS ceiling too, although we are a bit late into his HS career. Either way, Hutz proved he's worthy of being invested in at both pass-catcher and DB. I'll speak more about him toward the end of the piece. Robert Gormley caught two interceptions, both of which can be viewed inside. [player_tooltip player_id='1869888' first='Jahmir' last='Buckner'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1869889' first='Mekhi' last='Bartlett'] are two seniors who provided quality reps on the defensive side of the ball. The likes of Russell Holmes, [player_tooltip player_id='646730' first='Darren' last='Jackson'], and [player_tooltip player_id='647373' first='James' last='Webb Jr.'] , all played pivotal parts in the teams success. Webb connected with Cobbold downfield for a score with Hutz in coverage, while Jackson and Holmes were in on several stops on defense. A couple more stops in pivotal situations and LC likely comes away with the win. [player_tooltip player_id='1220956' first='Braeden' last='Smith'] can also be witnessed in the video above plugging holes and stopping runs from becoming 20-yard gains. His unreal performance, utilizing his arm and legs, proved that relatively quickly. Witnessing first hand how high his athletic ceiling is in comparison to his counterparts was startling. This is coming from someone who has watched Cobbold grow as a prospect for 3+ years now. He very much deserves to climb back into the top 50-75. Cobbold isn't worried about trivial things like rankings on our site, and it shows. Love the leadership and attention to detail he's putting forth. This was a tough lose, yet I can't help but feel good about LC's chances no matter who they line up against, so long as Cobbold can continue to bring the flair and play-making ability that he's capable of to each ball game. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1580254' first='Nick' last='O'Brien'] is a senior back/athlete who caught my eye in this one. Yeboa Cobbold stole the show in terms of LC rushing attack, yet the combination of O'Brien and [player_tooltip player_id='1869885' first='John' last='Cobbold'] caught my eye. Both backs are unranked on our site currently. I'll have to see more to actually project where I think they'll land on respective PA boards (O'Brien 2026, Cobbold 2027). I'll work on further representing the duo moving forward. Profiles created. </p>   <p>A shame that I don't have [player_tooltip player_id='1869889' first='Mekhi' last='Bartlett'] on our rankings. 6'2, 215 pounds. Caused a strip sack of Cobbold that would result in a Judge touchdown. Consistent pressure of the edge, kid self-reports a 3.6 GPA. The senior has a good amount of tape up on Hudl, so unsure how he fell through the PRZ cracks. His performance against LC left a lasting impression on me. He'll be an easy sell for DIIs/DIIS recruiting PCL ball, so long as his grades stay positive. I'd feel comfortable ranking him among the class of 2026's Top 400. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1650480' first='Chase' last='Jones'] is a 2028 wideout who came up big in several moments in this one. Jones is small in stature; he wouldn't have a shot at a ranking if not for his stellar play when targeted by Fogarino. He deserves a look from me at the end of the year, at the very least. You can see Jones's catches in the video posted above. He's on track to land on our rankings, just want to see more production. </p>   <p>Robert Gormley is a senior whom I can't find much on socials. Presence on X aside, Gormley came down with two huge interceptions, one before half, and one to seal the victory for Father Judge. Gormley is a senior, so getting him on our rankings at the end of the year might not serve him too well. Regardless, if he continues to perform well at DB, he'll force my hand. He's currently on track. Profile created. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1869888' first='Jahmir' last='Buckner'] and Jacob Brennan both earned profile creations and ranking consideration after watching both work up close against LC. Buckner performed well at his DB spot, while Brennan scored two touchdowns while driving through talented LC defenders. I'll have to see more out of the two before getting too excited, as there are several talented DBs and backs that come before them. Right now, both can rest easy on solid performances against great competition. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1591944' first='John' last='Fogarino'] is in line for at least an 80-100 spot climb. Ranked as a DIII prospect, near the tail-end of our lists. After watching him lead an incredible two-minute drive to beat an uber-talented defense, this with both his arm and legs, I have to show love when it's deserved. Not to mention Fogarino plays a pivotal role on defense. More games like this, and DIIs recruiting Father Judge will have to seriously consider Fogarino's talents. </p>
