As we continue looking at five players in each 2028 position group, it's time to discuss the big boys in the trenches. There are many outstanding sophomores in Tennessee, but the top half of the linemen in the class may be the best group.

Today, we'll discuss five big-time offensive linemen who have high ceilings. BGA's [player_tooltip player_id='423394' first='Koehn' last='Dial'] and Baylor's [player_tooltip player_id='1704258' first='Dante' last='Wade'] headline the position, but three others fall behind them that catch my eye and have potential Power Four material.

Dial has elite potential with great size and length at 6-foot-6 and 295 pounds, with another two years to grow. The BGA sophomore is physical in the trenches and has plenty of strength while being an athletic tackle.

Dial excels in both run and pass blocking with a nice kick step, good speed off the line and good pad level. He's one of the prime targets for being the No. 1 in-state player for 2028 with a high ceiling. The offensive tackle already holds 11 Division I offers, including Tennessee, Ohio State and Georgia.

Makhi “Nacho” Rodriguez is a gigantic man at 6-foot-5 and well over 300 pounds. Even with his size, he moves pretty well. He's a solid pass protection guy, but excels in the run game when he can get his hands on someone and take them for a ride.

Rodriguez projects more as a guard, but a good one. His footwork and technique are solid, but could use some polishing up. The Blaze offensive lineman is strong, extremely physical and has a high motor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180940' first='Caleb' last='Langley'] is an intriguing 2028 prospect who's been impressive in his high school career with the Lipscomb Academy Mustangs. The big offensive lineman is a good all-around player. He's solid in the run game with his power and size, but his pass protection impresses me the most.

Langley has quick and strong hands along with good footwork and a strong anchor, making it extremely hard to get around him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1704258' first='Dante' last='Wade'] is an athletic lineman prospect who projects best on the offensive line at the next level due to his elite length in a frame that can hold a lot of weight well without sacrificing any athleticism.

Baylor has two senior tackles committed to Power Four programs, so Wade won't make his impact on the offensive side of the ball until next season, but the coaching staff there knows he is too talented to waste and has utilized his elite size from the nose tackle position.

From there, he has shown strong athleticism to complement the length, creating an exciting amount of anticipation to see how he performs along the offensive line for a Baylor squad that will need him to anchor the unit next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180873' first='Ashton' last='Coles'] has been impressive to start the year for Ensworth. The sophomore is big and nasty in the trenches with power and good technique. He's excellent in the run game, and when he pulls due to his nice footwork.

Coles is awesome in pass protection, showcasing nice hand placement and a good anchor to keep his quarterback clean. It's hard to say whether he'll play tackle or guard, but either way, he projects as a Power Four player.
