Early-Season Film Review: OL/DL

<p><em>Breaking down the film for some of Nevada's prospects to know in the trenches.</em></p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Pulefaasisina is proving why he was a new addition to the PRZ NV 2027 rankings in the August preseason update. The 6'3"/275 junior is putting together impressive tape early into the season with the tremendous power, physicality, and violence he brings to both the offensive and defensive line units. He possesses the natural strength and leg drive to eliminate defenders as a run blocker, looks twitchy adjusting to his blocks at the POA, and shows his burst and quickness creating pressure as a defender. Pulefaasisina is a player I'm extremely high on out of the 2027 class and expect to see his name popping up on college recruiting boards in the near future.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/mroutthatmixz/status/1965449064813920521 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Arnautovic has stepped into the starting LT role for Mater East since transferring in from Mariner (WA) and is quickly proving his status as one of the top OL prospects in his class. He's a powerful blocker in the run game at 6'4"/300 that can move DEs off the ball and open running lanes on the edge. His skillset and mobility look more suited for a RT role at the next level, especially given the upside he offers as a run blocker. He's a stalwart LT now at 6'4"/310 that's equally effective as both a run and pass blocker with the size, strength, and footwork he brings to the position. He has strong, active hands in pass pro, does a good job of getting to his landmarks in the run game, and finishes blocks through the whistle. Pratt picked up his first offer from Sacramento St. in the offseason and should continue to see his recruiting exposure rise over the coming months. </p>      <p class="text-gray-700">Hare is putting together a breakout junior campaign with 14 total tackles, 3 sacks, and 4 TFLs in Sierra Vista's first four games of the season. The 6'3"/225 two-way player (DE/TE) offers high-upside physical tools in the length, bend, and mobility he packs as a pass rusher. He flashes ability to set the edge with his lateral range as a run defender, uses his hands effectively to shed blocks, and plays with a charged motor as a tackler. He's a big, physical presence along the interior at around 6'3"/310 that can generate power and explosion out of his stance, possesses the strength to take on double teams, and offers impressive range as a tackler given his measurables. Cherry is quickly putting his name among the top junior DTs in northern Nevada with his level of play early in the season. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/JCherry775/status/1964749006887919662 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Hernandez is quietly putting his name on the radar of two-way juniors to keep an eye on in the trenches the rest of the season. He's an athletic DE/RT that's shown his ability to make disruptive plays coming off the edge and flashes promising potential in his technique and skillset as a pass rusher. His leaner frame and mobility make him a more likely fit at DE than OL at the next level but his footwork and fluidity offer some OT upside.
